You could never forget the day when Corporal Levi Ackerman had saved your life from the titans when they broke through Wall Maria.
For all you knew, you were sure that it was the end of the line for you - being gripped to death by it's large hands, ready to bite down hard on your stomach and fling the rest of your body to be eaten by the smaller ones.
In a blink of an eye, the titan was dead, with you in the arms of the Humanity's Strongest Soldier. His maneuvering was flawless, as if flying using grappling hooks everywhere was the most natural thing in the world.
As soon as he set you on the military grounds, you didn't waste a single second on getting onto your knees, thanking him repeatedly. Your tears had formed a small puddle on the ground, with you sobbing hysterically at his feet.
"Tch, get up." he commanded, his voice stern. You quickly got up on your feet, frantically wiping the tears from your eyes with the back of your hand.
You had a clear view of his frowning face, staring directly at your (E/C) eyes with no emotions whatsoever. It was just... blank. Just blank. (Just monika wkwkw lmaoo)
"Go back to your family and don't wander around," he says in a plain, monotone voice. However, you didn't move. You just stood there, looking at him with determination in your eyes.
Levi noticed this and gave you an icy stare. "Eh? Did you not hear me? I said go away,"
You took a deep breath and looked back into his dead eyes. "I want to join the Corps, Captain." You replied, keeping your composure in front of the small man in front of you.
"Eh?" He snorted, making fun of your statement. "You sure 'bout that?"
You nodded eagerly, making him sigh in irritation towards your persistence. He took a step closer to you, eyeballing you from head to toe.
"Your build is promising," he mumbles, "but I'm not sure whether you really are capable of being one."
You clenched your fists in determination. "I am!" You cried. "I'll work my hardest to be the best soldier I can be!"
"Tch," he replied, turning his back against you. "You're annoying."
Your head lowered to face your own puddle of tears in the ground. You felt disappointed.
"Guess we'll see how things are on your first day of practice." Levi suddenly said, giving you the smallest possible smile he could muster.
