It was my junior year in high school, and life had gotten rough. Between friend drama, school work, and family pressure, my depression quickly got worse. I began to self harm, because at the time it was the only way I could feel anything. Going through the downs of the roller coaster of life, I can easily tell you that that time has been the hardest time of my life.
On July 13, 2013 my friend invited me to go to the ReMix Vocal Academy's final "concert" to see all of the final pieces the campers had been working, and Beyond 5 was the musical guest. I saw them in the hallway before the performances started, and at the time I didn't know their names (obviously). SO it was the boy in red that caught my attention first. (After wards I would find out his name is Zac). He gave me this big gorgeous smile, and my stomach flipped and filled with butterflies. I knew there was something special about them, and that I was going to love them. I hadn't even heard them sing yet, and little did I know I'd fall in love with them.
