*Ammons POV*

"Brady!" Steve yelled with a wave. I turned around to see my one of my best friends. "Gasp!" I hear surprisingly. It was almost a whisper. The other three boys hadn't seemed to notice it. Looking around, I see peeking out from behind Brady a girl. "Oh my gosh!" I mentally shouted realizing who the girl was. "It's the girl from yesterday! Why is she here? How is she here? and with Brady? Does he know her?" Question after question filled my mind. She quickly looked down after keeping eye contact with me for a few seconds. Never before now has only a few seconds felt like eternity. "She must hate me now, after how rude I was to her yesterday. I need to talk to her alone so that I can apologize and tell her how I fe.." "Oh? Whose this star fish you picked up from the beach?" Steve asked Brady, breaking my train of thought.

*Back to First Person*

"Its okay" I thought to myself. "I'll just act like nothing happened yesterday. That is if Ammon says anything. If not, then I'll act like I don't know who he is." I finally decide on after an inner debate. I looked at my feet after a few seconds of eye contact, not being able to hold his gaze. "Oh? Who's this star fish you picked up from the beach?" The one still standing on the chair said with a wink after noticing Ammons distraction. "Ew" I thought "That guy is creepy." "Right, her name is Tammy. She's not from here and was just on the beach and caught my volleyball, so I invited her." Brady said with a wink making the other two boys laugh, making me think that he was hinting at something else that he wished would have happened. Ammon didn't look amused though. He was still staring at me like I was an actual star fish on display.

After Brady introduced me to the group as Steve being the loud one and standing on the chair;  Nick who was the red head sitting down; and Ammon the other one sitting down. I smiled at the three boys, lingering a little too long on Ammon, long enough that Brady noticed. He grabbed my hand and walked to get in line, me letting him take it. "Well come on! Lets order!" he says over his shoulder to the three guys at the table. "Actually Brady, I'll wait at the table." I say, pulling my hand from his grasp. "I wont be ordering anything, I uh, don't have any money on me." Saying the last part shyly. "No! You have to try one! It'll be my treat." Brady said as he pulled me into a hug. Looking over his shoulder I see Ammon staring at us as they made their way over to where we were standing. Did he look jealous? "No, why would he be. I'm just making things up." I mentally scold myself.

The five of us head back to the table after getting our snow cones. I let Brady buy one for me, after bickering with him about it. I made him pick the flavor though in which he picked his favorite; Melon-berry. I have to admit, it was a pretty good snow cone. The five of us sat there while only Brady, Steve and Jake talked. Ammon and I kept sharing glances up from our snow cones, but not uttering a word.

"Dude what's wrong?" Nick asked Ammon. "You've literally said zero words tonight, ever since Brady got here" Or since I got here, I said to myself with a sigh. Brady looked down at me then back at Ammon saying "Yeah man, do you hate me or something?" Nope, that would be me also, I think as I make eye contact with Ammon. His lips went from a pressed line, into a smirk, saying back to the boys "Nope. I hate no one here" with a glance at me. How did he know what I was thinking? "There has just been nothing worthy commenting on in you bozo's conversation." They all let out a laugh while I kept quiet. It's weird that he would look at me after saying he doesn't hate anyone. Or maybe it was my imagination and he was just looking somewhere to gather his thoughts for his come back. Probably the second.

We talked, I mean they talked for another hour more. Ammon actually joined the conversation this time, and I said a few words. He kept looking over at me though, and I couldn't help but wonder why.

Nick stood up, stretching and tossed his cup into the trash. "I better head out, Angela wanted me to meet her tonight." he says, as the other two boys stand up. I follow their lead standing up, when Ammon reaches over taking my empty cup from in front of me and throwing it away with his. "Thanks" I mutter out sheepishly. "Any time".

After all the guys gave each other bro hugs, Steve comes over to me, wrapping his arms around my body. I patted my hand on his back, signaling for him to let go but he doesn't. "Thanks for coming and hanging out with us tonight star fish, even if you are a quiet one it was a ton of fun." He says, letting go after what seems like an eternity. I still felt his arms around me, giving me the chills before replying. "Yeah well thanks for letting me hang with you guys, my family can be boring." "If you aren't doing anything tomorrow afternoon you should meet us back here." Nick offered sweetly after coming over and hugging me also. "Okay thanks, I'll check with my mother." I really wanted to, I did have a lot of fun even if I didn't talk much.

As Nick and Steve started walking to the parking lot, I made eye contact with Ammon wondering if he was going to hug and say something to me also. Just as it looks like he was going to walk to me Brady cut in and hugged me, lifting me off the ground. "Hey can I have your number? I had a fun tonight, and would love to get to know you better." He says into our embrace. He honestly was totally a cute guy, personality and looks. "Yes you can" I say into his chest, inhaling his rich cologne that smelled heavenly. "I had such a great time as well. " I say smiling up at him

After exchanging numbers I remembered that Ammon was still standing with us. Brady had to go in order to make curfew, apologizing that he couldn't stay until my mom got there. "It's okay" I assured him. I was fine being alone, and honestly wanted to be able to think about what had happened. Interrupting my thought I hear Ammon say to Brady that he could stay with me, if that was okay. "You don't need to ask him for permission, I'm the one you should be asking" I think to myself, upset that Ammon would think Brady and I were together. "I guess we did hold hands a couple times in front of him, so I shouldn't get mad at him" I assured myself. Brady came over and hugged me one more time before he left, and I swear I saw that pang of jealously run across Ammon's face.

Sorry for the cliff hanger! but I want to make Ammon's confession special! Its going to be good! Or at least I hope you all think that! Any questions or anything please feel free to comment; and feed back also! Thank you for over 100 reads! You're all amazing!  Love you guys:)
