Chapter 4~ The Right Place

The song The Right Place was an answer to my prayers. Oh, by the way I am LDS, or Mormon. My faith had been lacking at the time, along with my self confidence and everything else. That's why I self harmed, and taking my life was a thought I had constantly. I wasn't enjoying anything, and all the other not-so-fun things that come with depression. That's where the song hits home. Almost all of the lyrics are uplifting, and self-confidence boosting. Some of the lyrics go like this:

This is the right place to start, no matter where you are. Don't wait another moment to move

The song made me realize that I could start new, with anything. And that's exactly what I did. I tried hard to forget about what was making me depressed, and focused on the happy things I had going for me, instead of ignoring them. It's amazing how much your insight can change on things, if only you make the first move. I began to talk to different people, and made a few new friends who would help me through this difficult time. I found all the boys of Beyond 5 on social media sites, being able to talk to them many times via twitter and Facebook, vine and Instagram. I was always on the watch for something new from them, in fact I still am.

But that's how I became one of the first Beyonders, and changed my life for the better.

I sat there, remenincing over the year i had had belonging to the Beyond 5 fanmily, with a grateful heart. At first there weren't a ton of fans, or people to fan girl with, at least that's what I thought. After their first CD release concert sold out, I knew I wasn't alone. Even though I didn't know the girls in the crowd screaming along with me, we all had a connection. A bond that later I found out was unbreakable.

After venturing to a few more concerts, I began to make some Beyonder friends. So, I made the decision and made a fan account on Instagram. This is where all of us beyonders connect. It's so much fun, and I've grown to love them like sisters, which was another reason I was upset that I had to miss the concert on the 4th of July. It had turned into a big meet-and-greet with a bunch of the beyonders, some even from out of state.
