Part 9 • Numb

When Yunho left, Holly was staring at her stolen pictures of him from the plane, recalling that just like him, she also fell for him. Everything about him was perfect, just like a skyscraper at first. Lifeless, no personality, just beauty. But when he started speaking, he became a living thing in her eyes.

The first living thing that caught her attention. A person caught her interest. It was about time for her to be a normal person.

Despite his gigantic height he's like a jelo. A cute wiggly jelo.

"What is wrong with you? He came all the way here to see you and you send him off just like that? You think you're so fucking pretty to reject such a perfect guy?" Hannah ranted behind her. She just know it's her twin because that's how she talks when she's angry, and who else would be this nosy?

She's right.

But she's tired of this. She didn't want to do something she's never done before.

"I don't want to hear it." Holly said gathering her things to go but when she was about to stand up, her right knee started feel like she had twisted it hard.

Shit! She thought to herself. How is she going to escape now? She felt like one move and she'll lose her knee down.

"Everything's so easy for you Holly. You just leave every person that you don't need. Or should I say, you dispose of people that you can't take advantage of." Hannah continued scolding her twin.

Holly turned around, biting her lips because of the pain. "Fuck you! You think everything's easy for me?" She asked with a chuckle. "How about you? Your life is so easy. Everybody likes you. You keep on correcting me all the time because you know what's right and I'm always wrong. You have no idea what I feel." She responded.

"Feel? You feel? You keep rejecting people and now you're pretending that you have feelings?" Hannah almost laughed but didn't. She was too angry to do so.

"Leave her Hannah. It's my fault for falling too easily. She shouldn't be obliged to develop any sort of feelings for me." Yunho interrupted. "Don't worry, I don't even fall for a girl anyway. I can pretty much just shake this off." He said so bluntly that Holly felt like a joke to him.

One minute he would chase for her in another city and then tell her she's easy to forget on the other. It was like a game for him. Maybe he was never serious in the first place.

Bullshit!

"Well, she'd love that. She loved being left alone. As expected, you're just like your father." Hannah spoke again. As much as Holly want to ignore her insult, she just couldn't help it when it comes to her father. She stood up despite her aching knees to push Hannah on the rough pavement.

"You don't know my father!" She yelled at Hannah.

"Ahhhhhh!" Hannah squealed in shock. She finches as soon as she hurt her hands, trying to prevent the impact as she fell but hurt her wrists instead.

Mingi and Yunho came to her aid right away, checking for injuries. The guys tried to cleaned her scratches without saying anything, but kept on glancing at Holly with a frightened expression. How can people so tall and huge look at her in such a terrified expression?

Holly checked on Yunho and he was just so terrified. One hand was covering his mouth in shock. He was silent.

"What? She saw it coming! Nobody can talk about my father that way." She said, stomping away but fell on the pavement as well because of her bad knee.

"Holly!" Yunho helped her up and placed her on a chair to sit.

"Why can't you both just make up right now?" Yunho asked.
