2 hours earlier...

"Mei!" Xikan grabbed Mei's wrist.

Yeonjun grabbed Xikan's arm shaking his hold on Mei's wrist. "Dude! You're going to leave a mark with your hold." He said pushing Xikan away. "No need to be rough. If she wants to come, she would. I suggest you leave her alone." He said, protecting Mei from Xikan.

"Mei, follow me." Xikan said, glaring at Yeonjun.

"I don't think she wants to follow you." Yeonjun tried to pry again but Mei gestured him that it's ok.

"See? You have no business here. She's my ex. We're just going to talk things out, right Mei?" He asked.

Mei nodded just because she was afraid of Xikan.

"Who's that?" Olivia asked.

"It's Mei's ex, according to him. Personally, I don't know him." Yeonjun answered. He watched Olivia follow them.

"Where is she?" Wooyoung asked Yeonjun.

"She...she excused herself. Her ex boyfriend showed up, why?" Yeonjun was now starting to worry, seeing Wooyoung's worried expression.

"Shit!" Wooyoung cursed before sprinting away. Yeojun followed him, just in case he would get into trouble. He kinda regret letting Mei go with Xikan.

He showed Wooyoung to where the two had trailed off and surprisingly, Olivia was there as well, watching them from afar.

"Come with me." Xikan yelled at Mei.

Wooyoung didn't waste time and went between the two. "Where are you taking her, dude?" He asked on a mocking tone.

"This doesn't involve you." Xikan responded, "who is this?" He asked Mei on an irritated tone.

Mei opened her mouth but nothing came out. She and Wooyoung have no label. What is she supposed to say? 'A friend who sees me as his sister?' That's too dramatic for a situation like this.

"None of your business." Wooyoung responded cockily. "Just leave the party. Mei's not going anywhere with you." He said holding Mei behind him.

"And you're so proud of protecting her? There's nothing to protect dude. She's not that pure and innocent as you think. You're got scammed. There's nothing to take anymore. I already took it all." Xikan joked.

It wasn't funny to Wooyoung because he threw a punch across Xikan's face. "That doesn't mean you can just treat her like an animal!" He growled, throwing another punch, causing Xikan to bleed. He totally lost it, and craving to see more blood. His balance was a little unstable and the shaking of his hands was too obvious that he was ready to throw another punch.

"Wooyoung! No! Please don't." Mei cried, blocking Wooyoung's way towards Xikan. For a second there, Wooyoung felt a tug on his chest, watching Mei protect an asshole from him.

It was like he was the monster in this story.

"He's not worth it. It's me, it's my fault." She blamed herself. She was even crying. There was something about her cries that woke Wooyoung back to sanity. He backed away feeling his tender knuckles from punching Xikan's face.

Yeonjun joined them. "It's none of your fault." He said taking her to the side, signalling something to Wooyoung.

Wooyoung smirked and didn't think twice before he threw another punch at Xikan. "Apologize to her now!" He demanded.
