Part 8 • Always

(Flashback)

When Holly moved in with Hannah and their mother, she felt uncomfortable with her since her father made her believe that her mother kicked them out, and that she doesn't have a sister. She was awkward and shy around them, patiently waiting for his father during the weekends to take her out for 8 hours then bring her back.

His father apparently got addicted to drugs that he has to go through rehabilitation. He's only allowed to see Holly at least 8 hours before he can go back at the rehabilitation center.

Their parents never talk much, they just give each other hateful stares and nothing more. But when they do, they yell at each other.

Since Hannah and Holly share one room, Hannah's decided to talk to Holly every night and ask her about the places she placed on her wall. Holly knows a lot about history and countries. Hannah would spend her night listening to where Holly wants to go when she can finally travel.

She was okay, polite kind and humble, but then one day she snuck out without anybody noticing. Hannah woke up when she noticed her kother scolding Holly.

"Nobody leaves this house unless I say so. Nobody can leave this house after 7PM! You know the rules yiung lady! Tell me what you did outside!" She deanded.

Hannah came out of her room to see her sister on the corner of the room, her back was pressed on the wall, both hands together like she was scared and her head was lowered that her hair covered her face. "I....I....I needed something sweet." She said showing a strawberry drink.

"I don't believe you! You only bought that as an excuse! Tell me, were you meeting with your father? Do you have a boyfriend?" Their mother yelled at Holly.

"No! I just needed..." wihtout letting her finish, their mother crossed her hand on her chest and started yelling louder.

"Liar! Liar! Liar! Liar! Why tonight? You could've just done it earlier when you're still leave the house. You know the rules."

"I didn't need it then! I need it now!" Holly yelled back, pushing her mother three times until she finaly knocked her down on the floor. "Stop yelling at me! I am not a liar!" She said then grabbed anything that she can grab shoving them on the wall. She continued doing it until both Hannah and her mother wrapped their hands around each other, scared for their lives.

Holly noticed how scared they look at her. She stepped back and cried to herself, wishing her father was here.

(End of Flashback)

"My mother told me that she saw my father in her that night. She became scared of her for years and never treated her as like how she treated me. She let her sneak out at night. She got all the delights while my mother raised me how she usually raised me while Holly' outside being wild and free, I was more restricted. After we both graduated and found a job, she's decide to save up all her salary to travel. She skipped a lot of meals and compromised her health a lot. Then my mother got sick. We weren't expecting her to help at all, but it turns out, while we were treating her as an uninvited guest in our house, she still has the decency to help out. She gave up travelling and covered all of my mother's expenses until she recovered. It lasted for 6 years though." Hannah told the two.

Now Yunho understood why Holly has that note from her mother on her journal. It turns out, she wasn't just one of those spoiled brat who has ther rich parents financing them.

She waited all her life for this. She patiently waited for it and then she met an accident and had to wait again.

"Me and Mingi won't get in your way once you find her. Go ahead and look for her. Give it a try, my sister isn't a monster, but I must tell you, I've never seen her look at someone the way she looked at a building and a bridge before. That thing you feel for her might not be reciprocated. " Hannah told Yunho, because they're now at their stop Senlis.
