lasershire part 2

Joven's pov

All lasercorn and I did all day yesterday was lay in bed and watch tv. He's really taking this hard. I'm worried because he wont eat or talk to anyone. And if he does talk he just gives answers like yes or no.

I hope he is going to be ok. Today I was able to get him to get out of bed so we could go to work. But we didn't do what we normally do. He normally wakes up and we hit each other with the pillows and throw things at the alarm clock. He just got up and didnt say a word.

We get to the office and I see something weird. Sohinki and damien stealing looks at each other every now and then. Sohinki sees that I noticed and quickly changed the subject and asked "lasercorn are you ok ?"

David said blandly "yes I'm fine"

I shrug off them two being weird get back to worrying about lasercorn. Everything he says feels emotionless. What is going on with him.

Everyone else senses the same thing I do. I can tell by their worried faces. Damien said "you sure buddy ?"

Lasercorn just sighs "yes. I'm sure"

And after that the office day went by slowly. Lasercorn hasn't smiled any or made a joke or anything. Its hurting me to see him in so much pain and not be able to do anything about it.

We all went home at about 4 because we finished our work early. As soon as lasercorn and I get home. He goes and lays in bed. I go and cuddle up beside him "lasercorn baby please talk to me" I pleaded

He opens his mouth and says "I'm fine babe you dont have to worry"

That only made me worry more. He used a monotone voice. Didn't smile nor frown. I complain "baby I can tell when your lying. And you aren't fine. Would you please talk to me and stop acting like you have no emotions"

He said in the same tone as before "I'm not lying, I am fine. I think I'm gonna take a nap"

He rolls over and goes to sleep. I get up out of our bed and go and sit in the living beside Wes. I start crying and Wes tries to comfort me "hey it's gonna be ok. He is just dealing with his pain the best way he can"

I shake my head "no hes not acting like lasercorn. He's stopped having any emotion at all. I want my lasercorn back dammit"

Wes pats me on the back "hey I'm sure things will go back to normal just give him some time"

I wipe my eyes and grab my phone. I text Darcy to meet me at a coffee shop. Maybe she will be able to help. I tell Wes "if lasercorn wakes up tell him I went to go get coffee"

I get up and walk out the door of the house. Darcy texted me back. She said she was bringing her mom with her.

I get in my car and drive off to the coffee shop....
