Lasercorn's pov

I laid in bed reeling from last night. not only did I punch my father in the face but my friend tried to kill himself last night. I remember mine and Joven's phones going off at the same time. It woke us both up. I had opened my phone to the video damien had sent. Joven and I started panicking. We didn't know what to do other than to keep calling and trying to get him to pick up his phone. We didn't know if it was too late or if there was still time.

I wonder why he tried to do it. He said him and shayne had broken up and he didn't have anyone. I know Matt said things were bad between shayne and damien but I didnt know they were this bad. I was so happy to see Matt send out a group text to let everyone know Damien was ok.

Last night was an emotional rollercoaster. The alarm clock went off finally and I groaned loudly "I want to sleep more !"

Joven is still snoring next to me. I looked at his features closely. His face was so handsome. His hair was cutely messy and his hairy bare chest was showing. He looked like he was sleeping pretty good.

The alarm clock goes off again and wakes him up. He opened his eyes and I saw those beautiful brown eyes look at me. I smile and kiss him on the cheek.

He joked "so you watch me in my sleep ?"

I playfully hit him "shut up"

He faked an injury "that hurt ! damn babe"

I laugh "way to ruin the mood"

He grabs me and brings me closer to him "for real though good morning"

I give him a kiss on the lips and lingered above him for a minute and finally said "ok time to get up"

I roll out of bed while Joven complains "do we have to ?"

I giggle "yeah if you like making money"

I walk to the end of the bed and yank the blanket off of him. I start laughing while he threw out a string of curse words. He finally got up and he and I got ready for the day...

We got to work that morning and the first thing I noticed was that damien didn't come in today. Ian probably gave him the day off so he could get his thoughts in order. I saw shayne in the the kitchen of the office and wondered if they broke up then do you think he would know how damien is doing. I asked him "hey shayne how is damien doing ?"

He replied "he's alright. You saw the video didnt you ?"

I just nod sheepishly. He focused on a spot in the room and stared at it. I finally asked the question that has been bugging me "are you two ok ?"

He shakes his head and puts his face in his hands "yeah Damien broke up with me last night. It's my fault he almost killed himself. I am an alcoholic and couldn't see how much it hurt damien. What is wrong with me !"

He started crying. I can tell he's being sincere because shayne never cries. So this is rare. I walk up to him and give him a big hug "well it sounds like to me that you've realised your problem and that is a big step forward. Don't worry things will get better"

He finally stopped crying and I let go of him. He fixed his hair and said "thanks. You know you're a good listener"

I nodded "anytime buddy"

He got his coffee and left the kitchen. I did the same. I got into the office and saw everyone sitting down at their computers and not really talking. They all looked tired. I guess last nights events really hit everyone hard.

Matt looked especially upset. If I'm not mistaken Matt was the one who saved him. Matt caught me staring and I felt my phone vibrate. It was a text from him "why are you looking at me like that ?"

I quickly replied "because I'm worried about you. Are you ok ?"

He rolls his eyes and texted me back "yes I'm fine"

"Oh ok well sohinki you and I are best friends so if you need anything then I'm here. You know that right" I punched into my keyboard

His annoyed expression softened and he sent back "thank you. But seriously I am fine. Damien is ok and nothing happened to him so can we please let this go"

I guess he doesn't want to talk about it. I replied back "ok"

I began working on a script for today's video and the day went by quickly after that....
