Joven's pov

I had thought alot about what happened at the alleyway on the way home. I feel like I want to know who hired mark the killer to come for me. I guess it doesn't matter now considering he is dead. I don't think I should tell lasercorn till he is in a better mood.

That's why Darcy is comming with me back to the house. I walk in and wes is sitting on the couch. He and Darcy exchange a hello. I poke my head into the room. Lasercorn is awake and staring at the ceiling "hey baby someone is here to see you"

He asked nonchalantly "who is it"

I open the door and Darcy runs into the room and jumps on him

Lasercorn's pov

I groaned when Darcy jumped on me "why did you jump on me"

She laughs. Her laughter is contagious and I start giggling myself. Joven walks in and sits beside me "oh my gosh he does have emotions"

I playfully hit him. Yeah I will admit that I've been keeping to myself for the past two days. I guess the stress has been kinda hard so I blocked everything and everyone out. Maybe that was a bad idea.

I kiss Joven on the lips and my sister jokes "ew gross. I'm gonna puke"

I retort "if you puke its because of itty bitty Elijah in there" I point to her stomach

She gets my pillow and hits me. She's only kidding though. I can admit this is the happiest I've been for the past two days. My sister asked me "so joven tells me that you haven't been feeling yourself. You know you have had him worried about you so much within the past two days"

He flashes me one of his beautiful smiles. I give him one back "thank you for comming over sis. I love you"

She hugs me "no problem. Besides we had a lot to catch up on"

"What could possibly happened within the last 2 days that I have missed ?" I ask her

She glanced at Joven and he nodded in her direction. She begins to tell me about the guys that her and Joven encountered. And she goes into a long story about how someone paid that man to rape and kill my fiancee. After she finishes her story I ask Joven "baby are you ok ? That's some pretty crazy information"

He nodded "I'm ok. Remember flitz killed him so I'm safe. Though I would like to know who it was to hire him in the first place"

I ask "do you still have the detectives number. She should know. It has everything to do with her case"

"I didn't even think about that Hm. Yeah I still have her number. I will go call her. You two continuing catching up" Joven said while grabbing his phone

He walks away and calls detective marlene. I ask my sister "so has the bastard found y'all yet ?"

She shakes her head "nope. I've been staying with mom. Her and I have been a little anxious. We know he doesnt want to hurt us but we are worried for your sake"

I roll my eyes "its not like he knows who I am. I've been famous way longer than we thought he was dead"

She laughs "yeah guess that means he is an idiot"

I sigh "yeah I guess so" ....
