Lasercorn's pov

I walked into my parents house and my nerves were shot. I close my eyes and breathe. I have to do this. He saved my friend which means he deserves a second chance.

The maid let me in. I walked into the living room and saw mom, dad and Darcy sitting on the couch. Darcy jumped up and got in my face "David leave. If you came here to start trouble then go somewhere else. If you can't see that dad has changed then you aren't welcome here"

I threw my hands up in defeat "wait, relax I'm actaully here to apologize. Um dad can we talk in the other room ?"

He looked happy that I was here. I actaully smiled a little bit. Darcy looked skeptical. She growled "David you better not be lying about why you are here"

I ignored her and dad and I walked into the dinning room and sat at the table. It stayed silent and I averted my gaze away from dad. I finally found words after 10 minutes of being quiet "so you saved my friend ?"

He nodded "yeah. I went walking to clear my head and I ended up at that bridge. I saw your friend jump and I grabbed him. Then he called your other friend and he came to help pull him up"

I nonchalantly said "thanks"

He sigh "what was I supposed to do ? I couldn't let him die"

I comment "the old you would have"

He said truthfully "yeah he would have. But I am being honest, I have changed james"

I glared at him. He corrected himself "sorry I mean David"

I softened my glare "I guess you werent lying when you said you really have changed"

He asked "so does this mean that I might be forgiven for what I did. I truly am sorry I ever put you through that"

I finally looked him in the eyes "it's going to take a while for us to have a perfect father son relationship but yes just don't waste this second chance because I don't give thirds"

He smiled and hugged me "you won't regret this David. I promise"

I squirmed out of the hug and just half smiled. He laughed "so I have a famous son. How did you get into the YouTube business ?"

I answered while laughing slightly "it was through a friend at the job I had before"

He asked me about Joven next "so you and josh huh ? Tell me about that ?"

I smiled. Thinking of jovey always makes me happy. I said shyly "Joven is special to me. I love him more than anything on this planet. We're getting married in 2 months. We still have to plan it. We have had alot of distractions so we haven't had time"

My father said "well I'm glad you are with someone that loves you son. I am truly proud of you"

He put his hand on my shoulder and gave me a squeeze. I responded "thank you dad"

He and I hug and I feel actually happy about it. We may not be best friends but we are on the path to fixing our relationship. We get up from the table and walk back into the living room. I saw Joven had came in from calling his parents. Him, mom and Darcy all sat in the living room talking and joking around. I loved seeing how much my family has accepted Joven and I.

He sees me smiling like an idiot and gets up and comes over and wraps his arms around me and asked me "so everything ok with you two"

I nod and kiss joven. I pulled away "we still have to go and talk to sohinki now so we should probably get going"

He agreed and I told mom and dad bye and told them I would come by tomorrow. Joven and I walked hand in hand out the door of the manor.....
