Lasercorns pov

I saw his hand reach out for a hand shake. everyone in the room feeling the anticipation of what I was going to do. I was about to reach into the back of my jeans for my gun. I wanted him to pay but I am no killer. I returned the handshake instead. everyone still looked shocked. I fake a smile at the bastard "sure dinner sounds good right Joven ?"

everyone snapped out of the trance and Darcy went into the kitchen to help him with dinner. mother asked me quietly "you ok david ?"

I nod "I want to hear him say how much he missed his son. I want him to beg and hurt. the only way to truly attack your enimies is to get into their heads"

Joven whispered "you know you are scary when you get like this right"

I smile at him "I'm a crazy bitch. remember that"

he giggles. truth be told. I meant what I said. I wanted to hear the words that I was his biggest regret. I wanted to hear that he missed his fag son....

dinner finished and we all sat at the dinner table. darcy talked about the baby and when it was due. mom talked about how her day went. finally the bastard started to talk to me and Joven "so David and josh how do you guys know my wife"

I mentally roll my eyes at him "she is our therapist" I lied.

he says while sipping his whine and smiles at my mom "oh. my wife is the best one out there so you guys got lucky"

I quickly spit a question before he can say anything else "so Mrs. Elwood tells me that you guys have another kid. is he not here ? you would think after the horrible plane crash he would be here comforting you"

Darcy, mom, and Joven looked at me questioningly. I waited for my dad to answer my question. he looked kind of hurt at my question but I know it's all an act "well he hasn't talked to me for years. It's my own fault. I drove him away"

I can't be civil anymore. I slam my fork down on the table and get up out of my seat. I tower over the four sitting at the table. I screamed "you did more than drive me away father. you had me kidnapped !"

he had a flash of emotions come across his face. he got up and ran to me with his arms open wide. I sucker punched him and he fell backwards "Don't touch me. you lost the chance to hug me years ago"

he whimpered "James I am so sorry what I did to you. It's my biggest regret ever"

I mock him "yeah Darcy said you said that. You say you've changed but I still see the monster I know you as"

I screamed "AND DON'T CALL ME JAMES ! I go by David now"

he rubbed the spot on his face where I punched him. that felt good. he begins apologizing again "jam- I mean david, it is. I was stuck on an island in the middle of nowhere for a long time. It has given me time to think about the kind of person I was and one night I started begging to god. I wanted to come home and become a better and more understanding person. then I heard a helicopter above me. they picked me up and brought me back so I could use this second chance god has given me to make amends and be a better person"

I yell "shut up ! It's all lies. that is all that comes out of your mouth. I came over here today to tell you that you don't scare me anymore you piece of shit. go fuck yourself. Joven lets go"

Joven got up and came to my side "mother and Darcy I will come back by in a couple of days"

he got on his knees in front of me "David please forgive me. I am so sorry. all I want to do is make things right with us"

I get pissed off at him again. I clock him again in the eye. I walk out with Darcy and mom confused at what just went on......
