Lasercorn's pov

Joven's parents just left the hospital after checking on him for 100th time. I was happy to see them though and as much as Joven doesn't like being babied by is parents I could tell he was happy to see them to.

 It's been a few days since we were rescued  by detective Marlene. It all seems like a bad dream that I can't stop reliving in my head.

I had no clue jessie was a psychopath. the news stations keep talking about the whole thing. the woman on the tv in Joven's hospital room reported "Youtubers Joshua Ovenshire and David Moss were kidnapped by a man Known as Jessie Johnson. he hacked their phones and faked each others voices with some kind of voice device to lure them to a bar then drugged them and ended up taking them to some warehouse where he had planned to kill Mr Ovenshire and dissolve his body while keeping David moss in captivity. Thankfully the LAPD stopped him in time. It is reported that Mr. Ovenshire is in the hospital with few gunshots to the leg"

I shivered at the reporter and Joven noticed and turned the tv off. I sat with him on his hospital bed I said while holding his hand "I am so glad you are ok. I don't know what I would have done if he had killed you honey"

He smiled "Well he didn't so you don't have to think about that anymore" he brought me close to him and kissed me on the forehead. I looked at him and stared into his dark brown eyes. I gave him a peck on the lips and smiled at him "you always manage to make me smile even when the worst things happen"

He smiles a big smile "that's my job"

I roll my eyes at him and tell him "whatever"

just as he and I were talking my mom, Darcy and my dad came into the hospital room. they have been coming and checking on joven since the moment he got admitted into the hospital. they really do care about Joven and that warms my heart to know that they accept the man I love. Mom said while they all took a seat on the couch across the room "so Joven how are you feeling sweetie ?"

Joven looked to my mom "I am feeling pretty good. I still feel a good bit of pain but I did also take 5 bullets to the leg so I guess that is Expected"

My mom gives him a warming smile. My dad gave him a compliment "you have a strong will to survive. I am glad my son has you"

Joven and I look at each other and I turn back to dad and give him a grateful smile. Joven said "I am glad I have him in my life. I'm a lucky guy"

He made me blush which was kind of embarrassing especially considering my parents are here. Darcy saw this and started teasing me a little bit "awe you are making him blush ! that is so cute"

I glare at her but also half smile "shut up"

She giggles at me and rolled her eyes. she then put on a serious voice "ok so I have a question for the two of you. you don't have to give me an answer right away but I think now is just as good of time as any to ask you guys this"

Joven and I look questioningly at each other and then back at my sister. My parents looked just as confused. Joven asked "what is it you want to ask us ?"

She smiles then places her hand over her baby bump. It has gotten huge. that baby is definitely going to be born this month. she said to us "well as you know my baby will be born soon"

I motion for her to go on and she continued "well I don't want this baby to grow up with one parent and I have a lot I need to fix in my life so I am definitely not ready to be a parent. I was wondering if you guys want to adopt my baby ?"

I just stared in shock. she wants us to adopt her baby ?? I looked at joven and he was smiling but then he saw my reaction "Lasercorn what do you think baby ?" but I still couldn't muster up words.....

Flitz pov

My roommates decided they thought it was a good idea to throw a party and now the house is filled with drunk people and obnoxiously loud music. I am in my room because I'm not really the party type tbh. I was going to work on some music. It's a hobby of mine to make music. I have this friend, we call him popsikl and he was the one who originally showed me that I had talent as a musician. 

I finally get frustrated from all of the loud music and people are talking way too loud. I get up and walk  out of my room. I looked for the roommate who decided this was a good idea. I found the culprit. he was hitting on two girls. I rolled my eyes and approached him "hey !" I yelled trying to get his attention. he acted like he didn't hear me. I groaned and tapped on his shoulder "Max !"

he finally turned around and could see the annoyed look on my face but tried to act friendly "hey buddy ! here have a drink" he shoved a drink in my face and I pushed it away 

"I don't want a drink dude this party has been going all day. when is it going to end" I yelled into his ear. 

before I could get an answer he walked off. I roll my eyes again and walk back to my room. I hate roommates. I got in there and plugged in some headphones and tried to drown out the noise. I was almost completely  in my own head till I noticed some red headed girl had walked into my room. I don't even think she noticed me. She closed her eyes as soon as she got in here. she inched her way down the door and sat leaning up against it. I tell her "dude do you mind ? this is my room"

She looked up at me and she looked really surprised embarrassed and started apologizing "sorry I thought this room was empty and I was trying to get away from all of the noise. Parties are not my thing" 

I could tell she was being sincere so when she got up to leave the room I told her "Its' ok. I don't really like them either. you can stay and hang for a minute if you want"

she gave me a grateful smile and I said "you can sit at the end of the bed if you want. you can call me flitz"

She smiled and outstretched her hand for mine "My name is Catherine Banks and I actually recognize you from YouTube"

I give a small smile "it's a pleasure Catherine. so you watch Smosh games ?"

she nodded "yep I have been subscribed for about four years now"

I noticed she had the most prettiest smile. I couldn't stop looking at it. she asked me "what ? do I have something in my teeth ?"

I shake my head and giggle "no you just have a really beautiful smile"

She smiled at me "thanks"

she asked me while looking intrigued "so what is it like being a famous YouTuber ? I bet you make a lot of money"

I shake my head "I wouldn't say famous. but I do like what I do. and It's not about the money at all, I truly love making videos. I want to inspire people to be their best selves"

she looked even more interested. we began to talk for a while. I thought she was such an amazing person. as the day turned to night things went further and her and I ended up hooking up. right before things started I asked her "are you sure you want to do this. I don't want to pressure you into anything"

she looked at me with a fierce determination and a very wicked and sexy grin and said "yes"

so things escalated and hours later she was putting her clothes back on...
