Joven's pov

I came back to the room and sat with lasercorn and Darcy after I called the detective. They were laughing about something Darcy said. I sit back down on the bed and ask "so what did I miss ?"

Lasercorn tells me "nothing just making fun of my dad"

I giggle at him and kiss him on the lips. But we can't stop kissing at this point. Darcy butts in "so time for me to go. Can I get a ride home ?"

David looks at me and then glares at her "we were just getting to the good part"

She and I laugh. I tell her "yeah ill take you"

I kiss lasercorn goodbye and Darcy and I leave. In the car she asked me "so when is the wedding ?"

I respond "I don't know. With David being in his mood lately we havent had time to talk about it. But now that he seems to be feeling better we will be able to talk it out and actually plan it"

She nods her head in content. After that we ride in silence. I drop her off at the manor and pull away to head back home.

I get back home and I walk in and Wes and lasercorn are talking. I smile at him lovingly. Im so glad he's feeling better. He looks back at me and gets up and hugs me "I am sorry I had you worried for the past 2 days. After seeing Darcy, it really cheered me up"

I plant one on him and reassure him "it's ok. That's alot to deal. Im just glad you are acting like yourself again"

He gets a mischievous grin "well now that I am. Lets go be a normal couple for about an hour"

We get to the bedroom and an hour later we are putting our clothes back on. I ask David "so are you hungry ?"

He smiles at me lovingly "famished"

I tell him "well I will go cook dinner. What do you want to eat ?"

He thinks about it for a minute then answered "cubed steak, macaroni, potatoes and some homemade biscuits"

I laugh and say "alright but I'll have to go out and get some of that stuff. I don't think we have it at the house"

He yells "becareful !" On my way out of the house. I ride to the store and get all of the ingredients needed. I even got some cake mix and strawberry icing for desert. I check out and leave the store. On my way home though I had the slightly odd feeling that I was being followed. I quickly push that feeling aside and just shake it off as paranoia.

I got home and started cooking. It took atleast 45 minutes to cook everything. I set places at the table for me Wes and lasercorn. While eating I ask David "so now we have to plan the wedding. I was thinking we could have it in a couple of months"

David smiles and agreed with me. Then he asked "can it be on a cliff over looking the ocean"

I agree to it. "Theres alot more we will have to figure out but when and where were the most important two. So now that we have that out of the way all that's left to do is plan it"

David hums in content. We finish eating. I look at the clock it reads 10:50 pm so I declare "well its time for bed babe. We have work tomorrow"

He groans playfully while getting up "do I have to ? "

I laugh and joke "yeah you like your job right"

After he and I go back and forward for a while. I pick up the plates and wash the dishes. I meet lasercorn in bed cuddle up to him. He said something that kind of threw me off "I want to stand my ground. I've hid from my father long enough. Time to stop hiding. For you and the rest of my family"

I look down at him. I can't help but to love him even more for this new conviction he has

"I love you so much lasercorn. You know I'll stand with you" I say while kissing his forehead

He jokes "well I'd hope so considering we are getting married in a few months"

He and I laugh. Just then a text comes in through Lasercorn's phone "who is it I ask"

He replied "its Darcy. Apparently father is now back with them"

I ask while unsure of Lasercorn's emotions "are you ok ? I know that can be a little hard"

He replied "yes like I said I am done hiding. Lets confront him Friday"

I kiss his forehead and agree. He falls asleep soon after that and I follow suit...
