~a few days later~~

Diggy’s P.O.V.

It was 3pm and I was bored. I was craving my usual banana nut so I put on some shoes and headed out the door to my car. I got in drove down to the ice cream shop. I parked my car and as I walked in I heard 3 familiar girl voices. I glanced at the back of their heads. I wasn’t really sure who it was until when I go to the counter and one of them said “Hey Diggy!” I knew who that was by then Iris, Elana and Tristen. I looked at Iris and did a small wave. I ordered my Ice cream and sat at a table while they fixed it. II started texting my best friend Justin Bieber but I couldn’t help but look up over there every once in a while.  Elana seemed so happy and I was glad she was. The way her face illuminates and how she curled her hair; compared to the other night. The other night was too much for me. That was the event I tried to put in the back of my head, but occasionally I re watch it in my head is if it was a movie. The guy said the number in the receipt and I got up to get my ice cream. But as I grabbed it Elana came to the counter laughing and grabbing more napkins. She and I made eye contact. I turned away but she didn’t. I walked away and sat back at my table. I took a spoonful of my banana ice cream and stared out the window. Before I realized it she came over towards me and sat directly across from me. I bet she wants an explanation.

Elana: Hey *smiles*

Diggy: *smiles* hi

Elana: So how have you been?

Diggy: I’m fine and you?

Elana: Well I’ve gotten better. *smiles*

Diggy:  Look I’m sorry *regretful*

Elana: its okay true feelings come out when they need too.

Diggy: Oh okay. *confused*

Elana: *laughs* I know you’re confused and it’s okay. I’m fine with you not wanting be with me now. I had to realize that I can’t force someone to stay in a relationship. You’ve been through enough maybe it is time for you to move on.

Diggy: *puts spoon in cup* looks out the window

Elana: What’s on your mind? I know your thinking when you do that *curious*

Diggy: *turns and looks at her* are you trying to be my friend?

Elana: Yeah I guess so.

Diggy: *looks back out the window and gets really quiet* Well I don’t think we should be friends.

Elana: Why?

Diggy: Because…..

Elana: Because what?

Diggy: When someone really loves someone they can’t be more than just friends you said so yourself. I’ve questioned our relationship many times in my head. Like why are you here? And why should I be with you? Why do you put me through these things or assume stuff for no reason at all? Then you have the audacity to come over here today and tell me something that sounded like it came out of a magazine or book.

Elana: I didn’t even why I did this. The other night I pour my heart out to you and you didn’t even care. The today I come and try to be your friend and you say rude stuff to me. I don’t have to take it from you because you’re nothing but a jerk. *gets up but Diggy pulls her down*

Diggy: No sit here and stop running away. You going back and telling Tristen and Iris everything that goes on between us is none of there business. How is that going to help us? Be real with me and tell exactly what is on your mind. Not something you had rehearsed with Iris and Tristen while I was getting ice cream.

Elana: Okay fine then. You are jerk. You disgust me and I don’t know why I’m with you. If I could I would reach across the table and punch you in your face.

Diggy: *laughs* you’re a liar. I think the complete opposite of you. You’re beautiful and sweet. Very strong and confident; you’re perfectly made for me. *leans in and gives her a kiss* even though I’m a fool and completely dumb to realize it.

Elana: *smiles* so what does this mean?

Diggy: Did you bring a purse?

Elana: No just my phone and it’s in my hand.

Diggy: When you going back to Miami?

Elana: I live here now with Iris.

Diggy: What?!

Elana: What’s wrong? What’s wrong?

Diggy: *stands up and throws cup of ice cream away* Are you kidding me?

Elana: what happened? *worried*

Diggy: *says it loud* Iris and I need to have a talk. She can’t be stealing my woman! *picks up Elana and throws her over his shoulder. *to Iris* I know you think she’s hot but back off because she is mine

Iris: Shut up Diggy and put her down. You can’t just jack her from us!!

Diggy: I can’t well watch me! *runs out the door with Elana laughing*

Elana: Bye!!
