Tristen P.O.V

I was frantic and I was becoming lunatic. Any noise I heard made me think it was Diggy. I crawled into bed and closed my eyes as I relived the moment I pushed her down the stairs. What was I thinking? She wasn’t even stable enough to fight back fully. She was out of it and I killed her. I can only imagine how Diggy feels. I know I really screwed up and Iris she acting cool. She’s acting a little too cool about this. I dialed her number and she answered. Iris: Hi Tristen

Tristen: So how are you and your new boyfriend Daniel?

Iris: What? Diggy and I aren’t together.

Tristen: I thought that since Elana died you would find a way to push up on Diggy.

Iris: Listen, I’m tired of you guys saying that I’m trying to get with Diggy. I’m not! I like Khalil and I’m faithful with him. The thing with Diggy was old. I was drunk and I’m not pregnant. So lets leave it at that. I don’t even want to hear about it. Elana is dead and Daniel is having hard times with that. I’m never going to replace Elana and I can’t even match the expectations of her. I’m sorry that she died I’m really am but I have to focus on Diggy now.

Tristen: What the hell? No you don’t.  Why you acting like you barely knew her. You met her before you met Daniel so don’t even act like that. Daniel doesn’t need you to focus on him. Elana has him trust me. She may be dead but she always is watching him and you say your faithful to Khalil but you so focus on Diggy that Khalil not in the picture. How about I call him and let him know what’s up?

*Diggy walks into Iris guess room*

Diggy: Iris, my mom wants to see you

Iris: You know what since you think so negative and wrong you talk to Diggy. *gives phone to Diggy and he sits on bed*

Diggy: What you say to Iris that got her mad? *curious*

Tristen: Listen, Ever since the pregnancy situation Elana and I have been unsure about Iris when it came down to you. She says oh I’m not into Diggy but when she said “I’m sorry that she died I’m really am but I have to focus on Diggy now” that gets me upset and even more questionable of you and her.

Diggy: I understand, she’s just being odd because it happened. Don’t pay attention to her. But seriously how did Elana die? I deserve to know Tristen she’s my girlfriend.

Tristen: As long as you don’t come and kill me.

Diggy: I won’t.

Tristen: Well Elana and I got into this argument because I found her in this bloody bath water with make up smeared all over her face asleep. She looked like she was going to drown so I woke her up but when I did she didn’t want to answer questions. So we pushed each other back and forth all the way to the hallway while talking mess. She had me fuming and when she insulted me that last time I pushed her and she fell down the stairs.

Diggy: So you didn’t do it intentionally?

Tristen: *tears up and voice cracks* no I never meant for that to happen. I love her too much to ever hurt her like that. I was just frustrated with her. Those days with her were hard.

Diggy: What was it like?

Tristen: She was always frowning and mad. She would go outside and smoke cigarettes. She was just out of it. But I never saw her pick up alcohol. It’s kind of good that she left you. You didn’t need to see that. Elana wouldn’t have wanted you to see her that way anyway.

Diggy: I remember me yelling and crying for her to come home. I know I had to get to her somehow. I just wished that wasn’t the last time I got to see her.

Tristen: I’m sorry she left you so soon I know she meant the world to you.

Diggy: She meant the universe to me. I feel different without her. I got this weird text message telling me I need to trust my instincts.

Tristen: What if it was from her?

Diggy: That gives me hope that my sweetheart is still alive.

Tristen: She could be. When I saw that she wasn’t moving or anything. I just ran.

Diggy: But some man stepped into the house also. Her body is missing.

Tristen: Wait I didn’t know that. Aw Diggy I’m sorry.

Diggy: It’s alright. I just have to have hope.

Diggy P.O.V

After hanging up I went back to my room. This time I receive two texts from this anonymous.

Unknown: Follow my directions and you will know the truth. But if you tell anyone anything else about this you will NEVER find out.

Unknown: Save these texts, they will help you along the way. These aren’t simple directions if you are determined to find out, you would do what it takes.

I laid my head on my pillow. I eyes burned from looking at these texts. I wasn’t sure what I got into but I was about to do it even if I died while trying.
