Elana P.O.V.
It was winter break and I was so excited. It was going to be my first Christmas with the Simmons family along with Diggy. I smiled to the thought of that. I got up to the warm atmosphere of my room. I put on my slippers and opened my door. I immediately smelled pine. I got to the railing of stairs and looked down. I see Mr. Simmons, Diggy, and JoJo bringing in a giant Christmas tree. Russell came running out the kitchen with an apron on that has snowflakes on it.
Russell: WOW!!! That Christmas tree is big!!!! *smiles wide*
Diggy: What’s up with the apron? *laughs*
Russell: I’m cooking breakfast with mommy. Where’s Elana?
Diggy: Asleep
Russell: It’s like 10:30am I thought she would be up by now. She’s just…
Diggy: Lazy. I know Russell you didn’t have to say it. *laughs* She doesn’t cook, clean, or…
Elana: *yells from top of stairs* HEEEEEYY!!!! STOP TELLING LIES! I’VE BEEN STANDING HERE THE WHOLE TIME YOU KNOW!!*comes down stairs with a smile*
Russell: OOOOOH Diggy you in trouble!!! *goes in kitchen*
Elana: Yeah Diggy; BIG TROUBLE. *smile fades and goes into kitchen*
I walked into the kitchen. It smelled like ginger and cinnamon. I sat at the stool as the last batch of pancakes came of the stove and onto the plates.
Elana: Wow mom that smells really good!!!! *smiles*
Justine: Well you can thank Russy for that last batch. *smiles* my little boy can cook!!
Elana: *pulls Russell into a hug* and how’s my little bro this morning?
Russell: Fine, but I got a question…well more like a request
Elana: And what’s that?
Russell: Can you hang with me today?
Elana: Sure what we up to?
Russell: Arts and crafts
Elana: Nice I would love to do that with you.
The boys come in from putting up the Christmas tree. Diggy tried to kiss me.
Elana: *pushes away and smiles* sorry I’m to lazy to kiss
Diggy: I’m sorry
Elana: What’s the magic word? *smiles*
Diggy: Please?
Elana: No...Russy I changed my mind.
Russell: *gets sad* what? Why?
Elana: I’m going to hang with you all day today
Russell: YAHH!!!!! But wait what about Diggy?
Elana: He’ll be fine
Diggy: *stares* AWW man *stares down into pancakes*
