Diggy P.O.V

It’s been two weeks and the worse has happened. The news finding out Elana was dead was hard on me but the fact that they can’t find her body is worse. Who could possibly even take her body or even know she was there? Everybody keeps lying to me and telling me false information. Tristen doesn’t even want to tell me how she died. She has been hiding from me. In fact, her parents sent her to North Carolina to stay with some cousins until it all cleared up. My mom is beating around the bush when it comes to telling me about what the investigators saw. I lay in my bed as I hear some cars pulling up; great, more investigators to ask questions. I waited till the investigators went into the living room and opened my bedroom door. I went the end of the hall and listen to their voices echo.

Investigator #1: Well Mrs. Simmons, a neighbor saw a man at exactly 9:44pm the night she died entering the home. The neighbor never saw him before and he seemed a little suspicious.

Justine: I wouldn’t know who that could possibly be. Elana hanged mostly around Diggy and some other friends. If she came in contact with a man of some sort Daniel would have said something.

Investigator #2: So you have no idea who that could have been?

Justine: No

Investigator #2: Okay well we’ll look more into it. Has Elana ever experienced abuse or neglect as a child?

Justine: I’m not sure. We never talked about it. I know lately she has been seeing her past in her dreams and it must have been terrible because she changed.

Investigator #1: In what ways did she change?

Justine: I have heard she smokes cigarettes, she drinks, and she is really depressed I guess. She is grumpy at times and likes to isolate herself. Before she died Elana took a bath in her clothes and she appeared to be bleeding from the arm. Tristen found her asleep in the bathtub and her body was starting to sink in the water that had become bloody. She didn’t want to answer any of Tristen questions and that’s when the whole argument broke out before she died.

Investigator #2: What could have made Elana do that kind of action?

Justine: I don’t know…

Investigator #1: Well maybe she didn’t die. She could have left for awhile. That probably was a way for her to cope with what just happened.

Justine: But to just leave without telling? That’s not like her.

Investigator #1: Well you said she changed. So I don’t why not. But on the other hand, we’re looking at the ways she could have fell down the stairs and based on the data there is no way she could have survived. So her body is missing.

Justine: *sighs* okay…keep doing what you can.

Investigators: We will *stands up and goes towards front door* have a good night Mrs. Simmons

Justine: I will try

I went back to my room. All these thoughts ran through my mind. What if she was alive? What if her body tortured or abandoned? But wait they always say she can possible die or is dead. But she got into so many accidents how could she be? I received a anonymous text.

Unknown: Sometimes things happen and people lie it’s up to you to know if the information is true or not. Trust your instincts.

JetsetterGeneral: Who is this?

I got no reply and it had me curious as to whom it could be.
