Elana P.O.V
Diggy was sweating as he drove on the highway. I looked at him crazily and laughed. His palms were sweating and he kept being paranoid. At one point of the ride I had to turn off his phone so he won’t be jumping every time his phone rang. I waited till Diggy got off the highway and was now driving on streets.
Elana: Diggy you alright?
Diggy: Ye-Yeah. I’m fine.
Elana: I knew I shouldn’t have told you about this.
Diggy: No I’m fine…
Elana: You’re sweating and you can’t even talk right.
Diggy: It’s just that the way it all happened. It seemed so mean and villain like. Why couldn’t you just talk to her Audrey?
Elana: Ugh…Diggy if you’re going to start asking me all these questions about this then you might as well pull over and I’ll go with Twist. You can head home.
Diggy: I’m not going anywhere. It’s just that this is a little extreme. I’m sorry
Elana: *kisses his cheek* it’s alright. I guess I would freak out too if I was witnessing this.
Diggy stayed quiet as we pulled up to our destination. I got the key and opened the door. Twist carried Tristen inside and laid her down. He kissed her on the forehead before exiting the entrance and sitting in the car. I got back in the car with Diggy for a few minutes.
Diggy: Listen; if anything I mean anything happens you come out. You better be the first one out if not I’m going to go in there and drag you out. I don’t trust this place. I can’t even see inside.
Elana: I guarantee you won’t drag me out. *laughs* but I’m glad you care about my safety. You’re something special Daniel. *smiles and leans in for kiss*
Diggy: I can’t; not up in this parking lot. *laughs but gets serious* I’ll be right here and so will Twist. Be careful and don’t do something you will regret. I love you.
Elana: I love you too.
I got out the car and closed it. I heard as Diggy locked the doors. I couldn’t see through the tinted windows but I could tell he was frightened. I’m sort of am too. I don’t know why but those old feelings I had when I first met Diggy are starting to come back.
It was about 6:00am when Tristen woke up. She looked around before bursting into tears. She looked at me like I was Michael Myers. I kicked Iris and Iris popped up out of her sleep alarmed and ready. I stood by the door and Iris pulled the chair near the door.
Tristen: Why am I here?
Elana: That’s what I wondered when I woke up to a dirty motel room, no food, and no mom. For you to have the audacity to push me down the stairs because you didn’t like what I said is just ridiculous. I should have pushed you down the stairs a long time ago before the argument fully even started.

Elana stayed quiet for a moment and I thought it was the end of the conversation until she came closer.
Elana: Get up!!
I watched as Tristen got off the bed and Elana dragged her to the bathroom. I followed behind and looked inside the dirty bathroom. The tiles were all chipped off and the bathtub had rust. She forced Tristen to sit in the tub.
Elana: When I was smaller my aunt would put me in this bathtub and tell me to stay quiet. I would sit here all day and all night until she came and got me. Sometimes her boyfriend would find me and punish me for what she did.
Elana went over to the nob to turn on the water and put it on cold. The water took a few seconds to come out of the shower head but when it did Tristen jumped a little. The water poured all over her from her hair down to her feet. She sat their soaking in freezing cold water.
Elana: I would sit here and think about the stuff my aunt could have possibly done to where I was taking the fall for it. So tell me this what did I do to you for you to push me down some stairs other than me talking mess to you like you did to me.
Tristen stayed quiet.
Elana: I can’t hear you Tristen! Can you speak up?
Tristen still wasn’t responding but she started crying.
Elana: You need to realize that a sorry is not going to help the fact that my family thought I was dead! Now you sit in there until you give me a proper sorry.
Elana walked out of the bathroom leaving only Tristen and I there. The shower was producing clean water until it made this funny noise and brown water started coming out. I grabbed Tristen and helped her out. I turned off the water and Tristen stood soaking wet. I opened the door letting bunch of cool air. Tristen walked out and stood in front of Elana. She apologized and ended in tears from both of them.

I walked outside to the car and knocked on Diggy’s window. He rolled it down and smiled. I waited for him to get out before Tristen apologized to him. Iris helped her change out her clothes before we drove out of the motel parking lot still tired and sleepy. I’m glad it’s over with but I still have that one problem with Diggy; trust.
