I hopped back in the car. The driver continued to drive to the workplace. When we got there I ran inside the building and asked the receptionist if she saw a girl with sunglasses. She told me she left a few minutes ago. I got back in the truck and forced the driver to drive around and look for Elana. I was so angry and frustrated at her.

Iris: Diggy you alright?

Diggy: No! What is wrong with her?!  She needs meds because she is being stupid!!! Why did I even get with her?! *anger turns into sorrow and tears* why am I saying this? *starts crying* I didn’t mean it. I want her back. Why did she have to smoke that cigarette? It’s my fault *sobbing and hyperventilating*

Iris: She smoked a cigarette? Wow…I’m sorry you saw that.

I cried silently till when we got home. I opened the door and rushed past my mom who was startled by my face that was drenched in tears and redness. I went into Elana’s room and crashed into her sheets. I just want her to come back so we can get through it together.

Justine looked at me with concern. She didn’t know what was going on. We went into the kitchen I started explaining when I finished. She sighed and looked down.

Justine: No one knows this but I actually sat on the phone with a close friend of her mom. She told me some things that I knew were going to affect Elana in a long run. I wasn’t aware all this happened to her but I was aware that she didn’t have the best mom. Diggy will be fine and knowing Elana she will come back. But I’m still questionable about her smoking a cigarette. Elana is probably going through a phase.

She showed me to my guest room. It wasn’t to far from Elana’s. I put my stuff away and went to Elana’s room. Diggy was on the bed looking up at the ceiling. Her room is so beautiful. Even her clothes are beautiful. She is the prettiest girl you can ever meet. You can’t even tell that she had a horrible past. I stepped inside her room and sat on a chair. I saw a photo album called my best friends. I picked it up. The album matched her room. Her room gave off this warmth and vanilla bean scent that made it inviting for you to come and sit. I opened the album and looked at the pictures of Tristen, Elana, and I. We were like the three musketeers. But I feel like our friendships are fading off. Tristen and I barely talk. For some reason I’m starting to Tristen hates me. Elana probably does too especially when it comes to Diggy.

Elana P.O.V

It was late outside and I had gotten drunk at this party. I didn’t even know these teenagers but they didn’t care who was there. I called a taxi and gave them the address of Iris’s house. I felt kind of funny. I think someone slipped something in my drink. I called Shannon who should now be off the plane.

Shannon: Elana are you drunk?

Elana: Yes very drunk. Can I crash at your place? *slurred words*

Shannon: How did this happen? Where is Iris?

Elana: I ditched them by your job. I couldn’t take it anymore. I smoked a cigarette and dropped of your files. Diggy hates me. Iris hates me. Everyone hates me. I’m so drunk right now….I drank off all my problems and emotions. I smoked too. I’m too drunk to go home and no one can see me like this.

Shannon: Oh my goodness Elana. Yes you can stay as long as you want but please stop drinking and smoking you’re too beautiful.

Elana: Okay…..

Shannon: Use whatever you need out of my house. Go to school also. I love you *hangs up*

The cab driver dropped me off and I paid him. I got out and grabbed the key under the mat to unlock the door. I opened it and stumbled into house. I fell on the floor of what seems like the living room and passed out.
