Diggy P.O.V
I sat on the couch and the man sat across from me taking out a pen and a small black book.
Man: I’m Mr. Shultz; Elana’s therapist and you are her boyfriend?
Daniel: Yeah for now…
Mr. Shultz: Why are you upset at her?
Daniel: She was supposed to go to therapy like she promised but instead she was with Tristen. She basically lied to me and broke promises.
Mr. Shultz: Well that day, I actually did get a call from her canceling the appointment but she wanted to do it over the phone. She felt more comfortable that way too. What I was told you’re friend Tristen was kidnapped and she had to get her. Tristen said so herself too. Her mom didn’t say anything about that?
Daniel: Not that I know of.
Mr. Schultz: How has Elana’s behavior change as in what was she like before?
Daniel: She was really sweet and always nice. She was a big sister to my little brother and we were just in love with each other. But now she is more moodier and meaner in some ways. She doesn’t really hang out much. She’s either by herself or at her aunts. Her and I have been having a really rocky relationship lately. Lot’s of things happened but she won’t tell me.
Mr. Shultz: That’s interesting. Would you like to know her progress since working with me?
Daniel: Sure
I lay back on the couch ready to hear the worst.
Mr. Shultz: She's very open in talking about the past and she calls very frequently. I could tell she wants the health but she wants you guys to know she is trying at least. Daniel I don't think the fact that she didn't go to therapy was the over all problem of you wanting to break up with her. I think it was all the bad things combined. Do you still love her?
Daniel: No
Mr.Shultz: Are you sure because she loves you.
Daniel: She don't love me. She only loved me because I had money and parents to care of her.
I stood up after that angrily. She doesn't love me and she never did.
Mr.Shultz: I don't know if that is the case Daniel. You should think more about it.
Daniel: I did and I'm never getting back with her.
I left the living room and went to my room slamming it behind me. I sat on the bed and looked at the picture frame of her and me. One side of me told me to hold on to her and ride it out like she would for me but the other told me to kick her to the curb and move on. There were way too many cute girls out here for me to be dwelling on this one girl. My mind and my heart said their feelings on top of my brain like a conversation. Did I really mean what I said about never getting back with her? I lay my head on our cover we shared and started to think.
Tristen P.O.V
Twist: Why am I with you then if you can't even be honest with me?!
Tristen: Honest with you about what?! He was just a friend. I promise and you can even check the messages.
Twist: But you sure did get all dolled up to go hang with a "friend" right?
Tristen: I wanted to make a good impression...gosh do I have to be question by you all the time?
Twist: Apparently yes because I'm losing trust in you now. If this is how Elana feels then I can relate because all this stuff coming out your mouth is lies.
Tristen: You know what? I don't have anything to lie about. I love you and I truly mean it.
Twist: Then why you leave me to go to NC? Clearly I want you here.
Tristen: I can't explain it
Twist: I knew it. You are messing around with some other dude.
Tristen: Look my cab here, I have to go
I slammed the door and let the man put my luggage in the trunk. I'm tired of Twist and his insecure thoughts. I stared out the window as the rain started to pour down from the sky. How long can I keep going through this?
