Tristen P.O.V

A man came out of the truck.

Man: You must be Elana. I am supposed to take you to a destination.

Elana: How did you even know that I was here?

Man: Well the owner of this house saw your friend and thought you were near by. But we have no time to spare. So let’s go. *gathers all of the belonging and put them in the back of the truck

Elana and I got in and the man silently drove to this pretty loft not to far from school. We got out the truck and he started unloading Elana’s possessions into the hallway of the living room. The living room looked like this: http://www.lofts.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/285-columbus-lofts-living-room-1.jpg after he was done, he shook both of our hands and told us that we had a chauffeur and we didn’t have to pay for rent because it was covered. Before looking around, Elana spoke.

Elana: So I live by myself now?

Tristen: No, I’m moving in *laughs*

Elana: *smiles* but how did this happen?

Tristen: I don’t know but Justine saw me gathering your stuff. She smiled and winked.

Elana: Call her

Tristen: Alright

I dialed the number and she answered.

Justine: Yes Tristen?

Tristen: We are in this loft apartment. Why?

Justine: Well I knew Elana had to be with you or not far so I figured she should stay in a more fitted place while she goes through this phase. No one’s about this place but me and my sister. My friend is the owner and as long as we pay the rent Elana can stay there until she’s ready to come home.

Tristen: Cool.

Justine: Don’t tell anyone not even Iris. This location is secret so no one will bother her.

Tristen: I’m going to live with her, so I won’t tell

Justine: Okay well call me back. Diggy is coming, love you *hangs up*

Tristen: Elana, Justine put you here so you can get through whatever you’re going through.

Elana: Oh, I have to thank her. Let’s check the place out.

We walked to the kitchen and Elana gasped. The kitchen is beautiful: http://www.homedecoratingsense.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/contemporary-kitchen.jpg Next we went to the dining room: http://banjarinfo.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/luxury-modern-minimalist-dining-room-with-modern-chairs-and-table-design-of-tribeca-loft-06.jpg We went upstairs to the master bedroom: http://news.ruckstuhl.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/soho-loft-interior-rug-4.jpg The whole house was pretty. I love the way how it looked and felt. We called our chauffeur and went back to Iris home. Elana gathered the remainder stuff up and locked the door; placing the key back under the mat. We went to my house and I packed. My mom gave me permission as long as she got to visit. We went to our new home and made dinner. I never saw Elana’s face so vibrant and happy. She was like a little girl compared to this morning. She look so different with those glasses too. I have to get use to them.

We all came back from being out and I wanted to go up to Elana’s room. I opened her door and panicked. Everything was gone! I hollered my mom’s name frantically and everyone came alert. Everyone gasped and moved around the empty bedroom. The only thing left was the furniture. I cried and hollered at my mom for having us go out on a family outing. My mom looked me in the eyes and told me Elana was coming back. I slammed my room door and undressed myself. I got into the bed and cried hysterically. I have nothing left of her. I looked up at the ceiling for a while. Then I looked around the room and something caught my eye. I got up and moved a few items and I found our cuddle blanket, some shirts, and one of her bed pillows. I cuddled them in my arms as I went to sleep.

I put the last few dishes in the dishwasher. I looked at the time. It was 9:30. I wondered what Diggy was up to. I dialed his number and he picked up.

Diggy: Elana?

I didn’t say a word. I just listened to his breathing. He knew I was listening. So he spoke more.

Diggy: Come home…please. I want you here. *Iris walks in*

Iris: Diggy

Diggy: come---

Elana: *hangs up*

I put the phone on the table and went to my purse. I needed a cigarette. He’s telling me to come home and Iris is probably lying right beside him. Tristen was watching T.V. as I walked onto the balcony and had my 3rd cigarette. She came outside and closed the patio. I was leaned over the railing overlooking the neighborhood.

Tristen: What happened?

Elana: I called Diggy just to here his voice and Iris calls his name. I hung up on him. He wants me to come back but I’m not ready.

Tristen: Oh… you should stop smoking.

Elana: *turns towards her* why?

Tristen: I don’t want you to get addicted.

Elana: I’ll try to stop but that’s going to take a minute.

Tristen: I’m here with you along the way.

I put out my cigarette and got ready for bed. I was tired plus school is tomorrow. I set my alarm and turned off my lamp. Within minutes I was asleep.
