It was about 5 pm when chenle had finally returned home,
He opened the door, a huge smile plastered on his face,
"Where the hell were you?"
Shit, mom's back..
"I-i was just out with some friends.." chenle clutched the fabric of his jeans
"You were with a Boy, werent you?"
"Yeah, what does that have to do with anything?"
Chenle asked, trying to hide the shakiness in his voice.
An empty wine bottle flew past him and shattered as it impacted door behind him.
He flinched and covered his head,
"Answer the damn question, boy!"
"Yes.. I-i was!"
"What are you, some kind of faggot? Is that why you were so happy when you got here?! God I raised a dissapointment.."
"Mom i-"
"Don't talk to me. Go to your room."
Chenle just walked past her and straight to his room,
He knew he wouldn't be eating tonight.
He threw his phone onto his bed, and collapsed against his door.
He put his head in his hands and cried.
He cried until he couldn't breathe.
He didnt understand why his mother had to be like this.
He heard his phone ringing and stood up to check the caller ID

He sighed and picked up the phone,
"Hey"
"Chenle what's wrong?"
"Nothing" he sniffled, "I'm fine. What is it?"
"I.. I just wanted to hear your voice.. I had a lot of fun"
" I had fun too. Thank you." Chenle slightly smirked thinking of their lips touching.
Chenle could hear Jisung audibly sigh on the other side of the phone,
"Chenle you can always talk to me.. if.. if you didn't want to be together or something y.. you could've said no.."
"Oh god! No! It's not like that, jisung. I couldn't be happier that you asked me out, I just... It's family stuff, okay? I promise I'll tell you. Just.. just not now."
"Okay. Also.."
Chenle and Jisung talked the rest of that night.
Jisung almost made chenle completely forget about his homophobic, abusive mother.
He gave him butterflies and that night, they fell asleep talking.
That is until his mom came in.
