Chapter 10:Detention

Zoe was waiting inside of Hagrid's hut.Despite her brother's actions and behaviour towards Hagrid,She was friends with him. (Well,She IS friends with everyone except some certain people.Being in Hufflepuff changes your prespective.)

She told him all about what had happened with Snape and what were they doing there at night.In return,Hagrid had promised he will let them go together instead of spliting up.

Suddenly,There was repeated knocking on the door.Hagrid opened the door to reveal Raven,wearing multiple jackets and her scarf.Neville and Draco were behind her."Raven,it's the beginning of summer,and you are the only person I know that still wears scarfs and jackets."

"It's cold outside!"Raven complained,hiding her face in the dark green scarf,"Hello Hagrid!I hope we aren't ruining your night!"

"It's still your fault."said Draco,rolling his eyes."Close your mouth for once Draco,Please."Neville sighed,making the four of them turn to him."Wow.."Zoe grinned.

"Wow is an understatement."Raven chuckled,turning to Hagrid."Neh it's fine,Yeh can take fang with yeh."He walked towards Fang,waking him up and dragging him to the four kids."Be back at 9,eh?"Hagrid looked at Zoe,as if she is the responsible 'mother' of the group.

"Of course."Zoe stepped outside,and have Draco the leash."Why does it have to be me?"Draco asked,taking it from her hand and walking into the forest.

"Because you are a terrified big blonde baby."Zoe remarked,"Also,Apologise to Raven.Geez have some kind of decently,Draco."

"Hey,he doesn't need to apologise..I am not mad."Raven shrugged,putting her hands in her pocket."Still!Blaming you is dumb."

"Fine fine-"
"Don't fine me,Young Man."

"You sound like mom."Draco sighed,then turned to Raven."I apologise for being..me."

"Wow,This is sad."Neville whispered,though the other had heard him."Nah it's fine.I already told you I am not mad."

Neville stepped on a branch.

Draco jumped in surprise,then frowned."Why..did it have to be here.."He sighed,stomping on the floor.

"Oh well..We still have an hour and a half..What do you guys want to do?"
"Weird thing,They didn't specify what should we do.This is like...us hanging out."

"Yeah,Thats..very wei-Guys am I the only one who thinks that its very odd for Quirrell to be in the forest in the same time we were there as well?"Zoe asked,looking around."Maybe he was visiting Hagrid?"Neville shrugged,"That could be it if I hadn't asked Hagrid  if he was there yesterday."

"Oh.."
"What are you suggesting,Zoe?"

"You tell me,Raven.I need to hear it from someone else."She said,putting a hand in her jeans pocket."Well..He could've followed us."Draco suggested.

"Or He was there already,I mean remember the Unicorn Vampire?They were wearing purple!"
"It could be someone else,though." remarked Neville,"Hey did anyone hear..""Probably an Owl."Draco quoted Raven,making her giggle."Hey It sounded like an owl!Besides,I was trying to comfort you."

Suddenly,Their talk was cut off with the sound of footsteps,then a sound of neighing.The four of them shared a look,then Zoe cautiously walked towards the voice.

The other three followed her,trying not to make any sound as well.Zoe motioned for them to stop,and they did as told.

She just needed to take a closer look of their-

The sound of a cracking branch echoed into the forest,making the cloaked figure stop,and turn around.Zoe backed away slowly."Who..cracked.. that..branch?"She said slowly,as the figure approached them."M-Me.."Neville stuttered,"Heh..Well we better-"

"Run!"Raven shouted,as they turned around and started running as fast as they could."Well,If we die tonight,I want you all to know that I care about all of you and that I am really glade I have met you guys!"shouted Raven,"Same here as well!!"

"And Her-WOAH!!"Suddenly,Neville tripped on a branch."Okay what kind of horror cliché movie is this!?"Zoe shouted,stopping.Vampire Unicorn got out their wand,making Raven blink when she stopped at him.

"Okay,But not today Mr.Vampire!"She got her wand out of her jacket and pointed it at them."Stupfy!"

They flew into a tree,Raven helped Neville up and motioned for them to run."How did you even learn that spell!?"Neville asked,as they ran."Reading books come in handy."

When they finally got outside of the forest,They rushed into the castle.

The four of them panted,sitting down on a nearby bench."That..was.."Zoe rested her head on the wall.

"Insane?"
"Creepy?"
"Awsome!Raven,you didn't tell me you know an advanced spell!"

Raven smiled,"You could learn it from me sometime..or I can give you the book."

"Of course!"Zoe was rather fascinated,and proud."Is anybody going to acknowledge that Raven possibly stunned a vampire?"

"That was so awsome!Besides,You probably injuried them!So,more clues for us!"
"Now we better go to sleep,I'll see you guys at flying class tommrow!!"Zoe ran back to her dorm,"Goodnight."Draco started walking to his room as well.

"I never thanked you for saving me."Neville smiled at his younger sister,"Yeah I mean,You really don't have to."

"Ill still say it anyway..Thank you, Rave."He ruffeled her hair,making her shake her head."Stop!!"

Neville laughed,making Raven roll her eyes."Remind me why i saved you again?"

"You love me."
"Good point."Raven shrugged,"So,I'll see you later."

"Yeah..Goodnight.."
"Night."

1)Sooo,There are probably 10 more chapters to come (Or less) before this story ends!I already started in Year two,So hopefully the chapters will be more frequent!

2)Yep I mixed up some stuff from the books (I need to re read them)
