Longer than my usual chapters :P
I stared at the heterochromic boy quizically.
"Sure but I don't think you'd like it, its pretty run down." The boy tilted his head. "Are you not the son of Elemental?"
I scoffed, muttering softly under my breath. "More like the son of an asshole..." It wasnt an exaggeration either. I looked back at the redhead. "I moved out a few weeks before U.A., I couldn't stand that man. I'm guessing you understand?" Todoroki looks aside, nodding. "Still, I would like to pay you a visit." I nod and leads the way, going through the alley obviously shocked the usually cold boy. "We're almost there." I remarked as we turned to face a small door.
I pulled it open, stepping over the musty, maroon welcome mat. Todoroki followed suit as I led the way up the crumbling concrete stairs.
I unlocked my room door and stepped in.
Todoroki glanced around the room, taking in the, admittedly, simplistic decor. "Is this what they call minimalism?" The words shot like an arrow into my skull and the next thing I knew I was laughing so hard I had to slump against the door.
He stared at me weirdly as I regained my breath. "I swear, you crack me up~"
"Do you have rice?" I nod, wiping the last tear from my eye and pointing to the kitchen. "Of course, why?" He nods, moving off to the kitchen. "Just sit down. I still have to thank you for getting the information out of that villain earlier." I hum, 'so he's making me something-?'
*PAK* 'pak?' *CRAK* 'crak?' *POP* 'pop?!' I rush over to the kitchen, the irrational thought of Bakugou sneaking into my kitchen unavoidable as mini explosions sounded.
I hopped over the counter to see the sight of Todoroki stirring a pot that was bubbling offly and fire was cracking under it. "Yikes..."

I snickered into my palm as I recalled how I had to make a new batch of porridge for both Todoroki and myself. Apparently, he'd never made porridge before, funny huh?
Well anyways, I was beside a rather grumpy looking Bakugou on our way to school. I'd caught up with him when I walked past his house and his mother basically demanded he stay out of trouble and asked me to look out for him. Now here was Mr Grumpy butt, hands in his pockets and a frown on his face.
"Hey, Bakubomb." The boy growled, I could practically see the sparks flying off of him. "What, Eyepatch!?" "No eyepatch. Anyways, about yesterday-" he stomped in front of me, stopping me in my tracks. "If you think I'm going to thank you for pulling me away before I could punch that asshole yo-" I out my hands up "No, no, that's not it, I just wanted to ask where you were teleported yesterday. I heard that everyone was transferred to different spots in USJ."
He huffed, ignoring his slip up and continued walking. At first I thought he was going to ignore me when, "I was at the burning building thing." He said offhandedly but at least he replied. I hummed, contented for now and we continued on our way.
When we entered class, we talked with Kirishima, well mostly me while Bakugou listened and added a few snarky comments here and there, before I left the two to talk with Momo as I got to my seat. This time, Todoroki turned around to face us, he didn't really say anything but he seemed to listen intently. It was almost like a baby kitten staring at their reflection for the first time, curiously cute.
"MORNING HOMEROOM IS ABOUT TO START! EVERYONE GET TO YOUR SEATS AND SETTLE DOWN!" Ahh how I love the sounds of Lida in the morning, wakes you up better than any measly alarm clock. "We're all already seated, you're the only one standing." I made a mental note to high five Kaminari as I turned to Todoroki. "I wonder who's going to teach homeroom today?" Momo mumbled. I nodded but knowing Aizawa Sensei, there is a high chance of surprises.
Then, the classroom door slides open. "Good morning." Classic Aizawa. "AIZAWA SENSEI, YOU'RE BACK TOO SOON!" The class screamed collectively as Me, Todoroki and I think I spotted Bakubomb and Tokoyami all collectively plugged our ears.
"So you're all right, Aizawa Sensei?!" Lida questioned. 'Does he look ok, Lida?' The scruffy teacher shuffled up to the teacher's podium, a fully bandaged face and and arm stowed in a cast. "My well being is not the issue. More importantly, the fight is not yet over."
"The villains again...?!" The little grape boy gasped rather humourously. 'I wonder...?'
"The U.A. Sports festival is drawing near." The four of us plugged our ears again as Kirishima stretched forward, almost like a winding mechanism to a jack in the box. "THATS A SUPER NORMAL SCHOOL EVENT!" I laughed softly.
"Wait, wait." Kaminari shoved Kirishima aside with his hand resting on the redhead's face. I reminded myself to give Kaminari another high five later as Jiro continued. "Is it okay to have a Sports Festival so soon after villains snuck into USJ?" "What if they attack us again or something...?"
"Apparently, they think of it as showing that our crisis management system is solid as a rock by holding the event. Security will also be strengthened to five times that of previous years." He looked up. "Above all, our sports festival is a huge chance, it is not an event to be canceled because of a few villains."
"Our sports festival is one of the biggest festivals of sports. In the past, the Olympics were called a festival of sports, and the whole country was crazy about them. However, they are now but a shell of their previous glory. Our Sports festival now takes the place of the Olympics for Japan."
"Of course, all the top heroes around the country will be watching." I nod, adding to her remark. "The Sports Festival is an opportunity to be scouted, the higher you score, the more scouts want you." Kaminari cuts in enthusiastically. "After we graduate, its typical to join a pro agency as a sidekick." "A lot of people miss their chance to be one independent after that and become eternal sidekicks though. Kaminari, I think you'll be one of them in the future, since you're dumb." I stiffle a guffaw. 'Remind me to talk to Jiro more~' Kaminari looks shocked, literally.
"Time is limited, if you expect to go pro, then this path to you're future opens up at this event." I grin. "Once a year." 'Catch the eyes of pros' "A total of just three chances." 'Get out on top.' "No aspiring heroes can afford to miss this event." 'The chance to prove yourself.'
"If you understand that then don't slack off on your preperations!"
"Yes sir!"

The lunch bell rang. Just as I was on my way out, Uararaka jumped in front of me and Todoroki. "I will do my best...!" Her voice deeper than I had ever heard it, even Todoroki was a little freaked.
"Y-yeah..." I mumbled as I slowly slid past her.
As we queued up for food, we heard Uaraka and Lida talking behind us about a green haired boy that was suspiciously missing. "Remember what Asui-san said on the bus, their boundless strength for their quirks make them really similar. Maybe All Might took a liking to him?" 'Oh~? Do I have a new rival? I mean let's be honest, after Todoroki, I still have to beat first place but All Might has no children, if Midoriya is truly something important to him... I must beat him to- ...to...what?'
I grunt, my head hurts, like my brain was being hacked open. I grip onto my hair but as soon as it appeared, it stopped. "Are you okay?" I grinned and nodded. "Probably just a migraine." I waved him off. 'What was I thinking about just now?'
