As the group of us walked out, I vaguely recall trying to walk by myself but eventually I had to use Shouto as support as we tried to exit the alley.

Just as we got out, a sharp screetch echoed and a pair of talons flashed into view.

'MIDORIYA-' I tried to make a blockade of ice but I was a split second too late. The boy was snatched up by his collar and just before the jet back boots gramps could go after him, Stain escaped his bindings and cut down the bird Nomu.

He looked over at us, eyes bloodshot. The dread in the atmosphere was incredible. The air grew dense at the mad appearance of Stain. He looked unhinged. Heck, it even sent shivers down my spine. His bandages fell from his face. No nose, scars and burns everywhere. He looked worse than my father, yikes.

Shouto fell to his knees beside me and I heard the native themed hero fall behind us. The bloodlust almost got me down to my knee but I struggled up. Somehow, something told me I had dealt with worse.

As the man inched closer, his grin widening, he suddenly stopped dead, apparently falling unconscious. Yet, he was still standing.

I woke up with a throbbing pain ebbing in my skull. My body ached and numb pain resonated from my cut up arm. I tried to sit up but damn that stab wound hurt. Still I managed to pull myself up. Looking around the room, I saw that Lida and Shouto were up, Midoriya still out from  painkillers.

I snickered at the bandaged boys. "By the skin of our teeth huh~?" I saw Shouto nod but Lida began ranting about how I shouldn't be sitting up. I dismissed the president and shifted my legs off the bed. "Kasami-san! I must insist you stay down!" I rolled my eyes and got up. I was hurting everywhere but I'd gone through worse I guess. I looked down. Bandages over my arms and I felt the same stuff gauze around my torso. Small grazes on my legs were covered in bandaids and more gauze was wrapped around my head. "They really went overboard." I sighed, pulling off the 'headband'.

"KASAMI-SAN!" He sounded like he was going to faint. "I'm fine-" then Shouto was in front of me. I sighed, "I'm fine, honestly- GAH! THE HELL?!" That asshole had jabbed his fingers into my side, making me fall onto the bed, holding the wound that was now in more pain. "You're not fine." I frowned. "Well if you jam your fingers in my flesh-!"

The door slid open. We all turned to the proheros that stood at the door. Manual and Grand Torino, whose names I learned the night prior. "Oh, you wounded kids are awake. You all have a visitor." Said the old man. "This is Tsurugamae Kenji, the Chief of the Police Force." Concluded Manual.

In stepped the familiar canine looking man. I'd seen him occasionally throughout my childhood. He'd come over for meetings and other stuff.

The three of us got up while Midoriya, who had woken up just recently, was struggling to get up. "You can just stay seated-wang." I could see the bewilderment on Midoriya's face but I held my laughter.

"You all must be the U.A. student that brought down." The room nodded silently.

"Regarding the Hero Killer Stain you captured, he is currently alive and being treated-wang."(Wang is the Japanese and Chinese version of bark)

"Since you are all U.A. students I assume you all know that when quirks were still becoming the norm, the police attached high importance to leadership and standards, and made sure quirks were not used as weapons. The. The profession of hero emerged to fill that gap-wang. For an individual's use of force and power that can easily kill others," he glanced at me, of course. "Actions that would normally be appropriate to denounce, to be accepted officially, is thanks to eraly heroes who followed the rules and ethics of the profession-wang. Even against the Hero Killer, for uncertified individuals to cause injury with their quirks without specific instructions from their guardians or supervisors, is a clear violation if the rules."

I couldn't deny it, we were breaking rules but there seemed to be a catch. However, Shout seemed pretty outraged.

"What...?" His teeth were gritted, not a very good sign for the usually stoic male. I placed and arm in front of his torso to stop him from advancing. "Let him finish."

And as I thought, I was right. We would be able to get away scot free if we gave all credits to the proheros on scene like Endeavour since no one else was in the alley.

We ended up agreeing pretty easily and then they left.

As the minutes ticked by, the year old magazine I was reading no longer held my attention. I was bored. Itching for a challenge and a run. I sighed and put the booklet down, shifting onto my feet and, of course, attracting the attention of the only two awake people in the room, Midoriya having fallen asleep again.

"Kasami-san! What are you doing!?" Lida said in a whispered yell.

"I'm going out for a stroll." I pulled the bag of clothes my brother had dropped off while I was asleep and walked into the bathroom.

As I removed the hospital garb, I noticed the thick, white bands around my waist. I could make out the faintest outline of an oxidized brown blood patch on my left side. I slid on a loose shirt that wouldn't strain my injuries too much and pulled on some running shorts. As the spandex-style material brushed the scraps on my legs I couldn't help but wince. After a particularly painful experience, "me and my 'choosing pain over boredom again'" I rolled my eyes just before a knock came from the door.

"Sora?" I opened the door to see a fully changed Shouto. "Your legs are lucky..." I grumbled, pushing past him. He gave me a weird look but followed. "Let me join you?" I nodded and we walked out, casting back a fleeting glance at the class president who seemed to me smacking his head into a pillow.
