Part 5: Time at School

The next day of school
YN's POV
We all watched as Cardin Winchester beat Jaune in the sparring match. Glynda gave a short speech after the fight before class ended and we all went to the cafeteria. "So there we were in the middle of the Night" Nora said starting a story

"It was day"Ren said correcting said story

"Surrounded by Ursa"

"Beowolfs"

"DOZENS OF THEM!"

"Two of them"

"Me and Ren killed them and made a boat load of lien off of Ursa skin rugs"

"She's been having this recurring dream a lot lately"

We all then turned our attention to Jaune playing with his food "you ok?" Phyrra asked

"Yeah I'm fine"Jaune responded

"It's just that you seem a little Not ok"Ruby said

"Well said Ruby" I sarcastically said as she punches my arm and I laughed

"Honestly I'm fine" he said putting on a very fake smile

"Cardin has been bullying you for a while now" Phyrra said

"Oh yeah, Name one time he's bullied me" Jaune said

We than recounted three separate occasions where Jaune was bullied by Cardin

"Jaune you know if you need help we're here for you" Phyrra said

"Ooo we'll break his legs"Nora said

"I have never liked one of your ideas more in my life" I said to Nora

"That's kinda disturbing YN" Ruby said to me slightly concerned about my mental stability

"Well it's not like he's just mean to me he's a jerk to everyone" Jaune said pointing to Cardin pulling on a rabbit fannus' ears.

Something inside me must have snapped when I saw this, she looked a lot like what I had assumed an older version of Maple would look like just she was a rabbit not a deer. My protective big brother kicked in and I stood up glaring at Carden. "I'll be right back" I said in a grim tone as Ruby held my hand

"YN Wait" I turned back to her with eyes reminiscent of Yangs when defending Ruby

"She reminds me to much of Maple for me to let this slide"I said trying to pry my self from Ruby

"Please YN" she said to me with concern. I sat back down with my eyes closed trying to focus on the nice feeling of Ruby's soft hand holding mine but I kept hearing snippets of the conversation

"Oww that hurts" the fannus said

"Please stop"she said trying resolve this peacefully

"Told you they were real" Cardin said

"What a freak" Responded Henchman #1

"Sorry Ruby" I said finally pulling my hand free from her grasp and walking over to Cardin

I grabbed his wrist and used my semblance to shot small almost unnoticeable shock waves onto his wrist to make me look physically stronger than I am "Let go of her ear now"

"Oh yeah, what's a pipsqueak like you gonna do" he said as he flicked my forehead and his Henchmen laughed

"Watch who you call a pipsqueak cause this one can take you down in one hit without a weapon"
