Lea's POV
"Mama!"
My eyes widened when I figured out that it was really her, Hailey. She is grinning while running towards our direction and I was just literally froze in my position. It feels like my feet are stuck in a cement. I'm just looking at her, and I can't really believe that she's here. I hope this is just a dream.
I gulped at sa kabila ng kabang nararamdaman ko ay lumingon pa rin ako sa direksyon ni Aga. I just blinked when I saw him looking at Hailey
No, this can't be happening. Not yet.
"Mama!"Hailey
I was shocked when she hugged me on my waist kaya napayuko ako sa kanya. I'm honestly not ready for this yet.
"Mama, surprise!"Hailey
I can't even move my face to smile at her. I'm just staring at her who's grinning at me, this moment hasn't sunk in to me yet. Bigla naman akong natauhan nang lumungkot ang mukha niya at kumunot ang noo.
"It seems like you're not happy that I'm here."Hailey
I opened my mouth and I can't find the right words to say since I was really spacing out earlier.
"Ahm— no! Of course not! Of course I'm happy to see you!"ako
Mariin kong ipinikit ang mata ko at mahigpit siyang niyakap. I just feel consciousness and uncomfortable since I know that there's this someone at my back who's watching us. I can feel it.
I let go from the and cup her face afterwards. And I almost curse myself when I saw her gloomy face especially those sad eyes kahit na nakatingin siya sa baba.
"Hailey."ako
I smiled and held her chin so I could make her look at me.
"Sino’ng kasama ng baby ko?"ako
She sighed and was about to answer when someone screamed from her back.
"Lea!!!"
I roamed to look for that voice and my palm almost met my forehead when I saw Charlene running towards our direction while pushing her luggage cart. She's just making a scene again. She hugged me but I didn't hug her back because I badly want to talk to her as in now.
"Huy! Ano, ‘te. Gandang ganda?"Charlene
I momentarily closed my eyes before I held her hand at lumayo kanila.
"Anong ginagawa niyo rito?!"ako
I loudly whispered that made her raised her brows.
"Papahangin, ‘te. Naubusan na kasi ng hangin sa Amerika, eh. Malamang nandito ako dahil sa trabaho!"Charlene
She rolled her eyes before she crossed her arms kaya napapikit ulit ako at humawak sa noo ko. I made a sharp exhale before I looked at her again.
"Did you know that Hailey's Dad is here right here right now?"ako
Her eyes widened.
"Hala, si Aga Torres? Where is h—holy guacamole."Charlene
She covered her mouth when she saw Aga. I looked back and then I saw Aga who's intently looking at Hailey kaya lalo akong kinabahan. I looked again at Charlene na hindi pa rin makapaniwala sa mga nakikita at binantaan siya.
"You'll pay for this, Cha."ako
I uttered then walk again towards Hailey.
"Sorry na."Charlene
I just exhaled and held Hailey's hand kaya napatingin siya sa akin. She's smiling because she's talking to Don Samuel but it fades when she looked at me, maybe because of my reaction earlier which I know I can't make her understand.
