Lea's POV
I smiled while caressing Hailey's cheek. Finally, her skin's turning into its normal color; after one week. And after one week ay hindi pa rin bumabalik si Aga. I tried to call him but he's not answering. I also tried to message him through his social media accounts but he's not even responding, and I'm very worried. I did everything to reach him pero wala. I've been worrying for week now but I'm trying to keep sane for my daughter.
I kissed Hailey's hand and stood up from the chair. Ako lang ang nagbabantay ngayon kay Hailey since may kailangang ayusin ang kambal sa business nila, then si Mommy nasa mall because she's buying all Hailey's necessity for this week. Actually, kanina pa siya nasa mall, mga isang oras na siguro. Si Abu naman ay nasa mansion at nagpapahinga. Unfortunately, and sadly, he's already getting weaker because of his age. I visit him sometimes kapag may ibang magbabantay sa anak ko to also make sure that he's doing fine. And I always love talking to him, he's still my Abuelo even we're not blood related.
I reached for my phone and expected again na mayroong message sa akin si Aga, but there's none. I just exhaled and sat again on the chair beside Hailey's bed. I looked at her and smiled. We just really need to wait for her to wake up since she's doing good and getting better every day. One day, she'll wake up, at sana nandito na 'non si Aga.
"Good job, hun."ako
I whispered in her ear while caressing her hair. I kissed her cheek and looked on my phone when it vibrated. I swiped it to answer the call, it's Mom.
"Hello, Mom? Nasaan ka na? Ang tagal mo naman."ako
I rolled my eyes. May pinapabili rin kasi ako sa kanya since gustong-gusto ko na talagang kumain ulit ng dried mango, naubos na lahat ng nasa ref. My gosh my precious stocks nakain ko na'ng lahat.
"Alam ko 'no. I have phone and wristwatch to know how long I have been here."Glenda
I exhaled nang may maalala ako.
"Ay, Mom! Will you please buy me ahh... what do you call that? 'Yung matamis na kulay puti?"ako
"Anong kulay puti? Asukal? Diyos ko, Lea! Gusto mo bang magka-diabetes? Kinukulang ka na ba sa tamis dahil wala si Aga para pakiligin ka?"Glenda
I made my poker face as if she can see it, but I bet she knows that I'm with my poker face right now.
"I'm just kidding! Hinihintay ko kasi 'yung kambal kasi may bibilhin din daw sila since nandito naman na raw ako ay hintayin ko na. Nanggigigil na nga ako at ang tagal 'nung dalawa!"Glenda
I heard her hissed, if I know she's already with her crossed arms. Well, magkakaayos naman na silang tatlo, the twins and my Abuelo, fortunately.
"Oh well ano nga ba kasi 'yang pinapabili mo? Isang kahon na dried mango na 'yung pinabili mo Lea kulang pa ba? Maghinay-hinay ka, anak. As much as you're breathing may pag-asa pa. Don't do stress eating, darling. That's unhealthy."Glenda
My palm met my forehead because of that.
"My gosh, Mom! Just go!"ako
I said and hang up the call but I heard her whispered 'oh wait' on the other line as if she saw a ghost but I just shrugged it off because I wanna eat dried mango already!
I sharply exhaled and stared at nowhere when he popped on my head again, as always. Nasaan ka na ba kasi, Aga?
Sab's POV
We ran to Tita Glenda as we saw her. I assumed she talked to ate Lea since kabababa pa lang niya ng phone niya. I looked on my wristwatch and make face dahil medyo matagal pala namin siyang pinaghintay. Sam and I stopped beside her so she's at the middle. I apologized first.
