This morning Stevie would be really meeting the children and she was excited to get the classes started. It was going to be brief, but she at least wanted to see how good they were academically.

"Kids!" Lindsey yelled from the living room.

Kristen had gotten her girls ready and Lindsey had to pry William from his room to get him going.

They all marched down the steps, in order and Stevie thought it was cute, it reminded her of the Von Trapp family, though there were way less children. Which she was surely grateful-she loved children, of all ages, but it did make it tougher if there were so many of different ages at the same time.

"So where is more comfortable for you?" Kristen asked the new governess.

"Well, I was wondering if I could take them outside. Backyard, park..." she trailed. "I like to switch it up and it's nice outside, right now."

"Sounds good," Lindsey smiled.

He liked the idea of his kids going outside instead of being cooped up in the house.

"What's going on, mom?" Will asked. He didn't want to be taken from his room if he didn't have to go to school. He never questioned the fact that he wasn't going to school, but he also wasn't going to complain.

"How come we didn't go to school, daddy?" Stella asked her father.

Leelee just awaited an answer. She figured enough questions had been asked for her to stay silent.

"Well," Kristen kind of let out a breath. "You guys are going to be homeschooled now," she looked up at Lindsey.

"Why?" asked William.

He was quite questionable just as his father was.

"So, it'll be easier on your mom when I am working," Lindsey said brusquely.

"Okay," he shrugged in response. "When do we get to see our friends and stuff?" he asked.

"Whenever, sweetie," his mother replied. "It's not a punishment or anything, it's like regular school just... at home. And it will make it easier for you to have someone like Stevie. She is going to take care of you guys when your father and I can't."

"You're a nanny?" Leelee asked Stevie.

"Yes, that is exactly what I am," she smiled. "I will be here for you all the time."

"Yay!" Leelee and Stella beamed while William kind of stayed back. Sure, it was cool to have a nanny, but he was hoping she wasn't going to nag like his dad. What would a twelve year old boy need another watcher for? Will thought.

"It'll be fine," Kristen whispered to her son.

"Alright, kids. Go show Stevie to the back yard and take her to the breakfast nook," Lindsey ordered.

"Okay!" Stella yelled as she and Leelee took their governess by the hand.

"There is a table under a shade," he was sure to tell Stevie before she was dragged away.

"Perfect, thank you," she chuckled.

"Thank you," he said because, everything she was doing was a big deal. She was going to be doing a lot for them. "What are you wating for, Will?"

"Just takin' my time..." he trailed off.

"Why?" he asked with a creased brow. He stuffed his hands in his pockets.

"I wanna know what's going on," he said.

"What do you mean?" his mother asked.

"I wanna know why we would be homeschooling in the middle of the year, all of a sudden," he put his hands into his pockets, imitating his dad's first action.
