The next months would roll around and still, Stevie was not spilling her feelings. She had moved passed the awkwardness of not telling Lindsey. They had gotten passed the awkwardness of seeing each other every day. They weren't totally avoiding each other, but they weren't holding as much conversation. The only time they would really talk was when it had to do with the kids or if Kristen was in the room. Even then, they still never held much of an interaction. It had never been intrical before and now it was even less. They had just enjoyed each other's company and they still did. But Stevie wasn't talking and Lindsey wasn't going to push.

"Lindsey, don't bother calling in my prescription," Kristen stated to him as they crawled into bed.

"Excuse me?" he asked, creasing a brow.

"It's not helping---I don't see the point anymore," she shrugged. "The medicines have stopped keeping it all stabilized," she added.

"That is no excuse," her argued.

"Lindsey, please? I just want to stop. It's been almost year of fighting this virus. Well, apparently three, but come on..." she lingered on. She was really truly tired.

"I'm only doing what you ask, so just know that I am totally against you," he slid into the bed further. He was doing his best to keep her happy, but some things made him bitter. He shut out the lamp on his beside. He had about a million different things in his mind. Now the things running through his mind... Stevie wasn't talking to him, Lorraine and himself were moving down a stable path and Kristen was giving up. What could he do to fix one of these situations?

When the next morning arrived, Lindsey woke up with his first that: Stevie. He planned on building the courage to talk to her. He had to and he didn't care what she thought. It was really important that he did. He had known Kristen was going to the doctor's and that would give at least an hour to chat. His wife was going for a regular check up and that doctor was in town. Her heart specialist was in another county. Peeling himself from bed, he would shower and get ready for his day. He had a quick Mac meeting so, he was going to go meet with his band mates and get that over with. Right after, he would come home and see his wife out, so he could prepare and talk to the governess.

"Hey?" Lindsey walked through the studio doors.

"Hey mate," Mick greeted him and put his hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, I got a favor to ask for when we're done here," he stated before sitting down.

"Anything, love?" Christine replied.

"I need one of you to take my kids... or all of you. They can be a handful. Would you mind watching them for about an hour, maybe take them out?" he sort of rambled on.

"Sure, why not?" Mick stated. He had a million of his kids at home and it was fun for the Buckinghams to hang with the Fleetwoods.

"Why so abrupt?" John asked. "What happened to the governess?" he continued.

"Well..." he hesitated. "Um--"

"Did you shag her?" Mick asked.

"No!" he put his face in his hands and rubbed his eyes.

"Well, what's going on?" Christine questioned.

"I'm totally in love with her," he finally blurted out. "Like I really love her, she may like me a little. But she is absolutely perfect. We did kiss and she hasn't talked to me a whole lot since then and I need to get her alone to talk. Kristen has a doctor's appointment for a check-up. Ugh!" he growled. "She's another issue, she wants to stop her medicines."
