"Look guys, Lindsey Buckingham," Jess beamed. He'd known his daughter to be fond of his music.

"How wonderful," Barbara also beamed as she stepped down from the porch. "Nice to meet you," she shook Lindsey's hand.

Lindsey's eyes did not once leave Stevie's, but he was curtious to her parents. He just melted, practically when he saw Stevie standing on the porch. Her long tresses, slighty disheveled and scattered all over her shoulders. Her flawless, porcelain face that looked beautiful with or without makeup.

"What are you doing here?" Stevie was choked up and motionless. She couldn't believe he was there. It was beyond her, how he did get there and she was curious about a million different things.

"I've been trying to get a hold of you for months..." he begun walking forward, towards her.

"Yeah and I have been rejecting your calls for months," she crossed her arms and averted eye contact to look over at her parents. Her expression, could easily tell somebody she was mad. "Mom, dad, would mind taking Will?" she asked.

"Not at all, sweetheart," Barbara smiled as she led the boy to the car. She could obviously tell the rockstar and her daughter were having an issue. She and Jess had no idea she was involved with anybody.

"Here, kid," Lindsey tossed his son, his wallet. He wasn't going to stick Stevie's parents with any kind of bill.

"Thanks!" William yelled.

Once the three left, Stevie looked back at Lindsey. "Why are you here?" she asked again.

"Because, I love you..."

"No, you don't. Don't say that, if you don't mean it," she shook her head, letting her hands fall lazily by her sides.

"I do mean it. I meant it the first time I ever said it," he walked up one step. "I meant it in every one of those messages I sent you," he walked up the second step, "...and I mean it now," he made it to the top to be level with her. She wasn't wearing any shoes, so still he was inches taller.

"Where's Lorraine?" she almost rolled her eyes as she let her arms hug herself once ahain. The simple eye roll caused her eyes to tear. His presence made her emotional because, it was the presence she had longed to see for months. She missed him and the kids terribly.

"Watching the girls. She didn't want to get married either and I left Kristen's parents at the alter. The wedding was today and when I got some recollection of where you could be, I came here. Stevie, I was so afraid, that it was truly the end and that I lost you. You don't understand how sorry I am, for hurting you," he said sincerely.

"I am starting to get an idea," she put her hand on his chest to keep him from getting closer. "I don't want to see you..." she shook her head.

"We both know that's a lie," he looked at her intensely.

She was almost shocked to hear him say that. She knew, he knew she was lying. "Lindsey, I really hate you and I want you to go," she said softly.

"And we know those are lies too. I'm not going anywhere, Stevie. I love you so much."

She huffed lightly. "So you figured me out. I love you too. But I can't..."

"Why now?" he asked. He was starting to tired of her saying that.

"Because, I know you could be happy with Lorraine," she responded.

"What?" he creased a brow. "How could I be happy with someone I don't love?"

"Lindsey, I know that it was Kristen's last wish. I had just hoped you were lying to me when you said it."

"Well, I wasn't going to lie... you asked me not to lie to you. So I didn't---I told you the truth," he bit the inside of his mouth.
