A Few Months Later...

"Lindsey?" Stevie traveled through their home to get to his studio. She had to call his name as she roamed her hallways.

"What's up, babe?" he turned in his swivel chair to see her approaching. He gently smiled because she looked cute to him. She was wearing a long flowy dress and she held the hem in her hands. Her bare feet were revealed---as was her anklet and burgandy polish. Her hair was all curly and naturally wild with its slight side part.

"I just wanted to know what you wanted for dinner. The kids are hungry and having a snack right now," she came closer to him.

He held an arm out for her.

She then sat down on his lap, facing him more.

He held her at the waist, but rubbed her hip gently. "Whatever you guys want. I have a question..." he lingered.

"Hmm?" she rose her brows a little.

"How does this sound?" he played her a guitar demo of a song. Their song, 'Crystal.'

"Far out," she smiled. "I love the little wind effect to it, sounds very mystical and beautiful."

"Oh, like you?" he brought her head down to kiss her lips.

She giggled deeply. "Anyway, what about it and what do you want to do with it?" she asked. She could already tell he was brewing ideas in his introverted mind.

"Well... let's just say, I played it for Warner Bros and they want to use it for a movie," he kind of sucked his lips in as he awaited a response.

"Oh, okay..." she paused. "What movie?" she asked.

"It's called Practical Magic and Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Stockard Channing, and Diane Wiest are the main characters. They play witches and--"

"I'm in! let's do it," she walked into the sound booth with no hesitation.

"That was easy," he mumbled to himself.

"So, I can sing it, like I have been?" she asked into the microphone.

"Yeah and you can add to it how you want to. It's your song, babe," he got himself comfortable in his seat once again. He prepared to move the dials and change the effects if needed. "Anyway, I didn't get to tell you... they liked your song a lot---that they were wondering if you'd like to write another one?"

"What kind?" she asked. "Like Rhiannon? she was a Welsh witch... well goddess," she shrugged.

"No, something to go with this, but a little faster---I have the papers regarding the synopsis of the movie for you to read. They said whatever you have to offer. You don't have to do it, but they wanted to know."

"Okay, I'll see... will you help me?"

He chuckled. "You're a great songwriter and I don't think you'd need help, but I'll guide you if you want."

"Okay," she smiled and shrugged lightly.

"Ready?" he asked.
