Waking up the next morning, Stevie was alone. She didn't even have an idea of what time it could be. It was still so dark and gloomy outside. She pushed herself up, only to see her naked body draped in her black, silken sheets. She started to recall the night before's events and she smiled lightly. She was with a man she loved so much and she had never loved a man that much. As she turned to get up she noticed a note on the pillow beside her---where Lindsey had been sleeping. She threw her legs over the edge of the bed and put her silk robe on. She kind of squinted since she had just woken up and since she had no eyewear. She then attempted to read the note.

Stevie,
Had to go home to check on the kids. I know we won't really get a chance to talk about us. I have to tell you... I had an amazing night and I love everything about you. You're beautiful and pure perfection to me. I just needed you to know that, if you didn't believe that. I should be coming by later, but I love you and I hope you have a good day.
~Lindsey

Stevie smiled to the simple words. She definitely had to agree by them having an amazing night because it was. It was really great in so many ways and she didn't want it to end. They really did have a wonderful time and it was slow and beautiful.

Lindsey was pulling into his courtyard, after what seemed to be the most peaceful night of his life. He was in the clothes from the day before and hopefully since nobody had seen him, he was hoping to look innocent. He didn't want anybody thinking bad of Stevie, if they'd slept together. He pushed open his front door and entered to a quiet home. He made his way to the bedroom and put his dirty clothes in the hamper and he went to take a shower. He figured he had sometime to get himself in order.
After getting cleaned up, made his way back down the stairs. He was wearing a casual outfit which consisted of a white T-shirt, jeans and his flip-flops. He practically hopped down the steps as he attempted to find his children and in-laws. He decided to check the backyard and he was pleased to find them at the breakfast nook.
"Hi Lindsey?" Diane smiled as she placed a plate of fruit in front of her grandkids.
"Hi daddy," both girls said in unison.
"Hey ladies, gentlemen," he kind of smirked at his son as he was greeting Kristen's father.
William kind of rose a brow. He didn't like hearing that because we felt he wasn't old enough for that kind of addressing.
"So where were you last night?" Kristen's father asked as he set the paper down.
"Well, I working on some papers and the last of the funeral arrangements with the governess," he replied with no hesitation because that was absolutely true.
"How come you didn't come home?" he asked.
"Honey...?" Diane butted in, because her husband was notorious for hammering with questions.
"Nah, it's alright," Lindsey wanted to assure there was nothing to hide even though there was one major thing to hide. "It was late and I slept over. It was raining hard and I didn't want to drive when I could come early and safely," he answered once again. He happened to know that it was raining very hard while he and Stevie were in bed caressing one another.
