"So, how about a tour?" Lindsey asked Stevie in the car, on the way home. They had a few hours to kill before picking up the kids. They had finished recording, earlier than expected and would be mixing their songs next week. For now they were just going to relax.

"I don't know... I mean Linds, you hired me in a couple years ago almost, to help your wife when you were away. How's it gonna be if it's both of us away? it's not like Will is eighteen and can watch them. He just turned thirteen in July and the girls need a sitter," she voiced her concerns.

"Well, we can hire somebody..." he added.

"Yeah, but... Lindsey, I kind of have an issue with that, if I'm not going to lie," she tapped her nails against the car door, nervously.

"What's the matter?" he asked.

"I have a multitude of reasons... I don't want to exactly be away from them. Now, I know they're not really my kids, but they are at the same time. However, if we hired somebody to take care of them, then I feel like they would learn to love that person easier and go to them instead of us. I also am nervous about singing in front of thousands, thank you very much. I wanna be here for the kids if they need us. This is technically my job as a governess slash mother. What if they need help with homework, and I can't be there for that?" she rambled on quite quick. "I know some people who could take care of them, but at the same time, I don't know how you would feel about that."

"Well, I have a couple ideas..." he lingered a moment to try to calm her. "One; they stay at Diane and Asshole's," he paused.

Stevie rolled her eyes and swatted him lightly. "Don't call him that. He's a nice man just..."

"Insane?"

"No!"

"Troubled?"

"Look, you and I both know---that isn't my first choice for them. Sure, they love their grandparents and vise versa, however me," she pointed to herself. "Me, they don't love so much. Okay, and I just---I was thinking my parents, but then all my other fears get in the way," she added. She had quickly slipped into mom mode, once having Lindsey back in her life.

"Okay and they are...?"

"I said all of them, do I have to repeat? I said; the schooling, helping them, loving somebody else, them being far from us..."

"Okay, how about this..." he swallowed hard because he would never think twice to say no in the first place. "How about we bring them on the road and you school them---Lori can video chat them for math and science?" he kind of hesitated.

"Well..." she actually began pondering the idea.

"Now let me voice my concerns..." he pulled into her courtyard finally.

"Alright," she waited.

He put the car in park and took his seat belt off. "Alright; after parties---the drinking that comes with it, the old and new drug addicts and drug recoverers, old drunken stories that could fill their heads with bad thoughts and ideas. You won't have time to have fun, if we did it this way. Stuck with the kids being cooped up for a couple years straight, home sick..." he had began running out of fingers to rundown his list.

"Okay, I get it, I get it---" she put her hands over his and lowered them to his lap. "I see all the dangers. I see they are good kids and Lindsey, I don't mind watching them."

"Okay honey, I'm telling you all these things so you say, no."

"Oh," she pursed her lips.

"How would your parents feel about watching them. I prefer your parents over my in-laws. I don't want to burden them, but we are technically family so maybe they could look at you mom and dad as grandparents."
