The young girl was starved, gulping down the sushi off the conveyer belt, like each bite would be her last. Her poncho still had the hood up, obscuring her young face. Every mouth full was an amazing burst of flavor. "I haven't eaten like this in a long time," she whispered. "I wonder if the girl who gave me this poncho will come back?" she mused to herself. But she paused for a moment, Feeling a presence, the young girl looked over to her right to find a young man probably in his mid-20's. He had been on the opposite side of the room before but now sat right beside her.
She never noticed the man was taking in glances of her from behind his sunglasses, but she paid no thought. She only sighed to herself thinking back to what just happened with that girl. It was the first time in years that a human showed her kindness. That girl gave her the poncho; just for knocking over the box, she had called home. It was not normal that a human would be so friendly towards a vampire. Yes, the young girl was a vampire, in simple terms a Servamp; a servant vampire that served his or her Eve/master. She smiled to herself tapping on the table slightly, once again lost in thought. 'perhaps she will be my eve.'
But she was not focused on the thought of getting one at the moment. She had a bigger purpose. She was created for the original Servamps, but, the problem was finding all eight siblings. she had no idea where they were. The siblings were hidden all over. The sins could be anywhere in the world, yet here she sat. never once did she venture out, she was too frightened over the idea.
The mystery girl ran her fingers through her brunette hair, distractedly trying to untangle the knots in it caused by the rain. Out of the corner of her eye, she could faintly make out slight details of the man who was stirring in his seat gaining her attention. His hair looked silky and as black as a raven's feathers, he wore a black colored yukata with red camellia flower patterns on the slightly longer right arm sleeve, and a red obi that ties the yukata around his waist. He also wore a white Japanese traditional jacket with the same red camellia pattern, which draped over his shoulders, and to finish his look off; a pair of traditional wooden sandals.
His sense of fashion screamed traditional Japanese culture; However, what caught the young girl's attention was the fact that he worn sunglasses, oddly in the middle of a storm like the one raging outside. Shockingly when the girl looked outside, she found no clouds occupying the sky, only the shimmer of moonlight. Strangely, the rain still poured down outside the restaurant. "Strange," the girl whispered. "Enlighten me; tell me a story," the young man announced to the girl. He did not look up from the plate that sat in front of him. The female paused and turned her head to the young man. Everything was on a cycle to her, she was almost like a machine. Day in and day out she would do the same thing; find food and live out her life. These sudden appearances of strangers frazzled her. "I-I, what?"
She moved away from the raven-haired male, a little frightened by his outburst. He only sighed in response giving his attention fully to the girl sitting beside him. Then out of nowhere the whole room turned red. Time began to seem as if it was an illusion. 'this guy is bad news.' The girls' thoughts were interrupted by the male's voice. "My name is 'Who is Coming,' however I go by Tsubaki, at least that's what Sensei named me." The man looked melancholic as if something was on his mind. He then looked away from the young girl waiting for a response back. "I-I don't have a name...I was once called 'Quiet Whisper,' but I only remember one other name. Fear. That's what my, um, friend called me before his death. You may call me either name."
Tsubaki looked at the girl and then back to his sushi roll. "I see." Fear took in the odd aura that surrounded Tsubaki; something was off about him. He looked so lonely yet, familiar to her; however, she, for one, knew what that felt like; the feeling of being lonely. 'But why would a man who looked so interesting be so lonely?' The girl with two names poked at the thought. "You are just like me, correct?" her mouth betrayed her, and her thoughts were spoken aloud. Tsubaki looked taken aback, before bursting into a fit of laughter. "Oh? how boring!" He exclaimed and took another plate off the belt. Sighing to himself he glanced back at Fear taking a sip of his green tea before putting the cup back on the table. "And I thought you would be interesting. Well, I guess I will have to kill you now."
