Chapter 42 Sibling Brawl (edited)

Rose stood before her brother and sister. She stood tall and unafraid. Rose knew that this day would come sooner or later, but she never imagined that she would have to face two of her off-brand siblings.

"isn't love a bitch sister?" Callein smiled, her head cocked to the side as she looked at Rose. "This all started because you loved a man that you couldn't have. Our master found you and took you in. You thought all your problems would go away once he changed you into a vampire. He made you love life again. You loved him. You thought he was too good to be true, but you were right. At least, he was too good for you and now look at you! You're miserable, afraid of your own shadow and alone. I must say, I did find it quite enjoyable watching you run around as if you were something special to these Servamps."

Callein's speed was top notch. In just a blink of an eye, she had her hand wrapped around Rose's neck. She was after all the 'perfect off-brand' every mistake that their creator made with Rose was Callein's strength. Her sharp nails pressed into Rose's neck, as she pulled Rose close to her smirking face.

"Why are you both here? why come after me after all these years." "I'm getting to that!" Callein growled and looked down at her high heels "Now where was I, ah yes, I want to kill you. Just as you killed our creator." "I never killed him...didn't Ratchet tell you..." Rose gasped for air, and Callein let her go out of pity. "Yes, as a matter of fact, he did. He told me that our master abused you after my death. He blamed you because you were his first creation along with being my personal caretaker. He also blamed the Servamps as well, but that's a different story. Anyways, one day you escaped your cell. He told you to go back, but you wouldn't do it. You, my dear sister, had the Servamp blueprints. You threatened that you would give up the blueprints and tell C3 where he and his other creations were located. He killed himself and even though he was dead you went on ahead and told C3 where he was located."

Rose glared at her sister and her brother "the first part of that story is true, but after I escaped I ran away. I didn't want to get involved with that man ever again. I hid the plans, and I ran off to find the Servamps, but I didn't get far because my fear of humans took over." "that's a load of bull shit sister." Ratchet stood before Rose looking down at her with insanity flowing through his eyes.

"The C3 boy- Tsurugi, he told Callein that there was an unidentified individual who informed C3 where our creator was located." "You should know better Ratchet. Once I was out of there I was gone. I never wanted to go back to that hell hole...with or without the C3 members. I knew what those people did to vampires. They turn them into their own personal lab rats. Never in my life would I try to go there." "Enough talking!!!"

Ratchet and Callein both stood before Rose with murderous glares. Rose stood to her feet, she knew that she had to distract them from the others who were in the process of saving Ririi from Ratchets grasp. With swift movements both Ratchet and Callein leaped into action attacking Rose at their full power. Callein with her crystal throwing knives and Ratchet with his sword.

Even though Rose dodged most attacks, and tried to move past them, Ratchet lifted his sword and assisted her in a face plant into the ground.

Rose lied in the dirt, blinking into a dark red pool of her own blood, listening to the mocking of her deranged siblings. When she touched her face, she realizes that the sword had left a deep gash in her cheek.

She struggled to stand, spitting up blood. "you look, terrible sister. One wonders why or how someone like Tsubaki would even love you." "wow, you know I remember you being so quiet. What happened to that." Rose smirked at Callein, struggling to stand on her own. A mouthful of blood coated her tongue with a bitter metallic taste, but she continued patronizing Callein. "I know I haven't fought in a while, but if that's how you fight, man you suck at this."

Callein laughed "I don't know why, but I find this very amusing. I never seem to bore of how pathetic you look. You just don't get it. Your outnumbered, cornered like a mouse." "really Callein, I told you to shut up. Do you not listen?"

Callein rolled her eyes and took a step towards her sister. Rose was running out of time, she had to distract Callein and Ratchet even more. Her fingers grazed over something sharp. A jagged rock was under her hand. Her fingers curled around the rock and with every amount of her might Rose hurled the rock at Callein, going right through her hip.

Callein laughed as her white dress became tainted with red, the hole in her hip spurted blood revealing fragments of her hip bone. Rose smirked to herself, but the smirk faded once she noticed Callein's hip returning to her pure seamless white skin. Not a single scratch was seen "Did you really think that would hurt her? Try again Fear!"

Ratchet smirked down at his sister, she lied on the ground, struggling to get back onto her feet. The sight amused him. "you're still the pathetic person that I knew all those years ago. You can't even defend yourself let alone anyone else. You know, it would be a shame if I let Callein go on ahead and kill every single person here that loved and cared about you. Face it Rose you're a waste of space, and once Callein kills those little Servamps, nothing will be in the way of me killing you. I will eventually get what I want! Oh also, did I mention that I stole your little eve? She's mine now. what do you say to that?"

Ratchets foot sat atop Rose's back, his combat boot was etching its way into her bareback. "you're alone, and you will die alone. I'll destroy everything you love starting with the Eve that once called you her Servamp, Then Tsubaki, then the rest. You will watch it. Callein will take away your happiness, and I will take away my anger by killing you." Ratchet's foot left Rose's back. The weight was gone, but the heaviness in her heart stayed.

Her breath hitched in her throat. At that moment...everything in Rose's mind switched off.

"Ratchet..." Rose slowly stood up, her feet planted into the ground like rocks "You never knew the reason behind my name. Fear...he fixed the problem inside of you and Callein...but he never fixed me..." Rose's head tilted to the side as she looked at her brother, the light in her eyes was gone and all that was left was pure insanity.

"I was named Fear because of what hid inside. I let fear consume me and it became a monster, and now I'm letting the monster come out. And now little brother, you shall Fear me. I'll be the last thing you ever see again."
