"Damn it, where are you little one?" Ririi cursed as she continued to search for the tiny animal. Raindrops trickled down her pale freckled cheeks, yet she did not care, all she wanted was to find that little panda. "I have been searching for an hour and no sign of it." She was about to give up, but, as if on cue; a tiny squeak was heard. The little red panda walked up to the red-head shyly and squeaked once more.
The fur that covered the tiny animal was sticking to its tiny frame, it was also violently shivering. "Oh, there you are little one, I was worried about you! It's way too cold out here for a baby red panda, I'll just take you back to my house until this storm blows over." Ririi gently scooped up the tiny creature into her arms and rushed back to her home. Unknowingly, she had just picked up something that would change her life forever.
Once the pair reached the apartment Ririi opened the door and slowly entered the dark entrance. A clock was next to the entry way. as Ririi took off her uniform jacket she glanced at the clock, The time was now close to midnight. her clothes still stuck to her body because of the rain. Her ginger locks also stuck firmly to her face. She was completely soaked from head to toe. The smell of rain danced into her nose and Ririi sighed in dismay, hating the odd smell.
"Oh, this is just great, wait here you little cutie pie. I'll be right back after I take a quick shower." Ririi gently sat the animal down on her bed and wrapped the small creature in a fuzzy blue blanket. "I've grown fond of you. It honestly gets lonely around here and I could use some company, how about I give you a name? it would be better than calling you 'little one' all the time."
She tapped her finger against her chin then giggled. She then noticed the red rose that loosely dangled from the red panda's fur. Her blue eyes sparkled in delight. "I'll name you Rose, it fits you perfectly! Now I'll be right back, don't go anywhere." With a smile, Ririi walked into her bathroom and out of sight.
"This is a nice place." The newly-named red panda whispered to herself. "Rose, huh? Tsubaki called me that before this girl named me; weird." Within a blink of an eye, the tiny animal transformed into the girl who occupied the sushi belt restaurant minutes ago. "It's so nice to be out of that form! Now to find some food. That sushi did not fill me up. I hope she doesn't mind if I munch on a few snacks."
After a nice hot shower, Ririi walked out of the bathroom wearing her anime patterned pajamas, her hair was damp but tied up in a messy bun. This was the first time in a week that she felt relaxed and rejuvenated. "That was a fantastic shower! I feel so much better, now to feed little Rose. I bet she's hungry." Ririi walked into the kitchen only to feel a slight chill run down her spine. "Did I leave the fridge door open? Man, if I did my electric bill will skyrocket!"
When she approached the fridge in the tiny kitchen, what Ririi found shocked her to the core. A young girl who looked only eighteen stood in front of the opened fridge. Her skin glistened in the fridge light and her slim figure seemed to be searching around inside the fridge. "Hm, where does this girl keep her soy sauce?" The mysterious girl turned around and gasped finding Ririi standing in the doorway watching her. Fear dropped everything in her hands, too shocked to even move. This gave Ririi a better look at the intruder.
Her brunette hair was pulled back in a messy ponytail. Her big red-tinted eyes shown fear behind her blue framed glasses. A single rose held strands of stray hair behind her ear. Ririi then looked down at the young girl's outfit. The stranger's outfit was cute, a pink long-sleeved shirt which flared out at the bottom, her black skirt was also very cute although it was quite short. It barely even covered her bottom as Ririi saw before. Finally, her outfit was finished off with some black and white striped thigh-high socks and worn-out brown boots. However, what caught Ririi off guard was the poncho the stranger wore. It was surprisingly very similar to her red panda's poncho.
"Who are you and what are you doing in my house?!" Ririi shrieked grabbing the nearest thing she could find as a weapon, that being a journal. The vampire girl dashed towards the living room, frightened by Ririi's violent outburst. Ririi; on the other hand, had other plans. She threw the journal in her hand at the stranger hitting her in the head. The vampire girl fell to the ground holding her head in agony. "Ow!" She groaned in pain as she slowly changed back into her animal form.
Ririi quickly grabbed a mop from the nearby pantry and crept into the living room only to find her dear Rose on the floor. "Oh my gosh, I hope that stranger didn't hurt you, Rose!" However, something didn't add up to Ririi. She looked on the floor to find that the journal she threw was strangely close to Rose's head, and the girl she recently saw was nowhere to be seen. Ririi picked up Rose to examine the little animal only to realize she hit the animal by mistake. "Oh no, I hit you instead of that intruder. Oh, poor Rose! I'm so sorry." "Yeah! you hit me alright, and I believe that's animal cruelty, Ma'am!" "huh? who said that?!?" Swiftly Ririi put Rose down and held up the mop in a threatening manner. "I know how to use this thing! come on out!"
Just then a puff of purple smoke surrounded Rose and, in her place, sat the frightened stranger from before. "To answer your question from before, I'm Fear, my nickname is Quiet whisper; however, I believe my name is now Rose. I'm just your friendly neighborhood vampire, which you just happened to pick up on your way home from college."
