Chapter 8 If You Bleed Red (edited)

Tsubaki watched outside of the hotel window, every human was out and about. Heading home and being with their families. It made him sick. He continued to feast off his own blood from his fingers as he became lost in thought. He wished to have a family like humans did, but how could he even face his family now? After the war, he vanished for a year. He never wanted to face his siblings ever again. He hurt them, he broke them, he wanted them to die. But now all he wanted was his sibling's forgiveness, he wanted to forgive himself for what he did. Yet, he could not. Maybe being evil was his thing.

"Tsubaki, we have returned." Two males interrupted his meal. "What happened?" The pink-haired male tightened his long ponytail. "The girl you made us follow, she is with your siblings." Tsubaki paused in his tracks. "So, little Rose has found my siblings? Which siblings?" He was growing eager; this wasn't how things were supposed to go. This wasn't at all what he predicted. "Sloth, Greed, Pride and Lust." The green-haired male spoke from the side why straightening his white and green jacket." Tsubaki smirked slightly and then started to crazily laugh.

"Not interesting at all. Oh, Sakuya, be a dear and go fetch the little Fear pair for me, it's time we pay the Arisuni family another visit." Tsubaki began to laugh once more. Sakuya the green-haired boy nodded in understanding. "I will bring her back here for you Tsubaki, along with her Eve as well." The pink-haired male piped in why jumping up and down, causing his magician-like outfit to sway up and down, knocking his white top hat off his head in the process. "Yes that little Eve might be a good assistant to my magic show~." "Yes, of course, Belkia. You may use Fears eve for a magic assistant, but the Servamp of Fear is mine. Now, go Sakuya, I want to see dear Fear." With a nod, Sakuya walked out of the room.

He wanted to question Tsubaki's ideals and his goal. 'Why did Tsubaki even want this girl? Maybe she was the kea Tsubaki has been talking about.' Sakuya turned back to look at his vampire master before walking to the top of the hotel where their base was located. "Guess I should do as he tells me. he did after all save me from death." Sakuya sighed remembering when his sister committed suicide because of his father. Their father wanted the insurance money, so he made Sakuya's sister jump out the window of their old apartment. Little did Sakuya know; that would be his fate too. Sakuya hit the ground and was on the brim of death. Sakuya laid in a pool of his own blood, but just in the nick of time the Servamp of Melancholy arrived to aid him. Tsubaki made Sakuya drink his vampire blood. This saved Sakuya and he would forever be Tsubaki's loyal subclass.

To go undercover Sakuya became a student at Mahiru's school. They became the best of friends. Yet sadly it had to end when Mahiru joined the good side, he became Kuro's Eve. Now, maybe things would be different. If Tsubaki says this Rose girl can help him become one with his family, then maybe this could save Mahiru and Sakuya's friendship. But for now, he had to stick by Tsubaki's side and listen to his orders.

"Sorry Mahiru, you're still my best friend and I know that Sloth is your Servamp now. I chose your side, but I still can't betray Tsubaki. I'm coming to your new friend." With a breath of fresh air, Sakuya slowly started to lean into the wind. "Here we go." With a leap, he flew off into the night to retrieve his masters prize.

Tsubaki sat back in his usual spot continuing to feed off his own bloody fingers while watching Sakuya fly to the destination. "My dear Rose so fearful and scared, I wonder if you bleed red, we will soon find out."
