My Hero (Natsu x Reader)

Hospital

We hurried to the hospital. My heart was beating out of my chest. If Juvia was in the hospital that means she's alright.
We arrived. I wanted to get out, but my feet wouldn't move. Natsu patted my hand, I looked at him.
"It's going to be alright," he promised. I nodded, even though I knew he was lying. This isn't going to turn out good. Juvia was alive, her mother had the note and was the reason Juvia even tried to kill herself, and there's a huge chance the police are going to be involved with her mother, and since my name is on that letter, I'm also getting involved. "Come on," he said, then got out of the car. I took in a deep breath, then got out also. We walked up to the doors together. He opened the door and let me through first. The first person I saw was Juvia's mother. She was holding Laxus's hand. I looked around and found Lucy and Gray nearby. I went over to Juvia's mother. She saw me and jumped up.
"You came," she said. I nodded then sat down next to her.
"How could I not?" I asked her, then gently took her other hand as she sat down. "Can we see her yet?" I asked. She shook her head.
"She's talking with the police right now." she looked down. "I gave them the letter you gave me." my eyes widened. I leaned into her.
"You know that can get you in trouble," I said. She slowly nodded.
"I know. I already talked to the police." she looked at me. "They want to talk to you as well."
"Why?" I asked. Even though I knew why. She wrote that letter to me and they want to know why.
"I don't know. Clearly, you haven't done anything that provoked her. But they just need to be sure." just then the door to the rooms opened. Two police officers walked out and over to us.
"Ms. Lockster. Is Y/N L/N here yet." one of them asked. She looked at me.
"She's right here," she said, then let my hand go. The police looked at me and gestured me to follow them. I stood up and followed them outside.
We stood out the door. One of the officers took out a notebook.
"I'm going to ask you a few questions. You are to answer them honestly." He said I nodded. What was I supposed to answer? I didn't provoke her. "How do you know Juvia?" He asked.
"She's a friend of mine from school," I replied, they looked at each other. Then looked at me.
"That's not what she said." He told me. I nodded. I knew it wasn't. "Why don't you tell us again. How do you know Juvia?"
"Tell me what she said to you, and that will vary my answer," I said, gaining confidence.
"We're not allowed to give that information out." He replied.
"Alright. Well. She is my friend. She wasn't for awhile, because I got her kicked out of school because she was being rude and bullying me and a few other people. But I see her as my friend no matter what." I said. The police officer with the notebook nodded as he wrote in his book.
"Did you know Juvia was going to try to in flick harm on herself before she gave you the note?" The man asked. I shook my head.
"No, sir. I had no idea. She was always so lively, I wouldn't have guessed she would try and kill herself." I answered. The men nodded. I looked at the officer who wasn't doing anything. He was holding a camera. He was recording our conversation. I looked back at the notebook officer. "Anything else sir?" I asked. He shook his head and smiled at me.
"Nope. That'll be all." He said. Then motioned for the camera officer to follow him. He did, not before turning the camera off. I let out a breath as I went back inside. Juvia's mother looked at me concerned as I went back over to her.
"That was quick." She said, I nodded and sat down next to her.
"They only asked me a few simple questions," I responded. She slowly nodded her head.
"Y/N L/N," someone said. Even though it was my name being said everyone turned around. It was a doctor. I quickly stood up.
"That's me," I said quickly. She motioned for me to come with her. I looked at Juvias mother. I know where the doctor was taking me. She nodded. I gave her a sad smile. Then went and followed the doctor down the hallway. It was a long hallway.
"She wanted to see you before anyone. You should be honored." the doctor said. I looked at her. Why should I be honored? Juvia isn't some queen I should be all over like Jesus. But I still nodded. Because deep down I knew I should be honored. She was alive and I was the first to see her.
We arrived in her room. I sucked in a breath. The doctor placed a hand on my shoulder. I looked at her. "Be careful what you say to her. She's a little jumpy still," she warned. I nodded. The doctor opened the door. I sucked in another breath and stepped in. Juvia turned her head and looked at me. I smiled.
"You're alright."

Alright. Guess what. The next chapter is going to be the last for this story. I'm almost done with the fanfic, you guys. One more chapter and I'm done.
