At least four or five months have passed and to be honest with yourself, you had forgotten about the letter you wrote because after two months you had given up on the hope of ever getting a response from your favourite actor. Although he did once mention to always response but it would take time because of his busy schedule.
Your heart starts to race when you find an envelope with your name on it on your doormat. Your name is written in the most messy handwriting ever but that's ok. You know it's for you. You rip it open and grab the letter. It's fully handwritten and your eyes scan the page. It's about the letter you sent to his agency and that he is touched to read how much his work means to you. But what you don't expect to read is that he is willing to meet you during his meet&greet moment in London. When you check the envelope you see a ticket inside. Oh my gosh, is this real? You read further and squeal when you see his signature on the bottom of the page with a little drawing of Loki since you have mentioned that he was your absolute favourite character. You can't believe this...
You check the letter for the date of the meet&greet and you see it's in a few days. You're not from London so you have to check at possible flights to London or maybe the possibility of taking the ferry. You will figure it out, perhaps asking your mom to help you out to see what is best. Maybe she wants to come with you! Or how about your best friend? But then again, she is not really fond of him and you won't be actively spending time with her since you'll be busy meeting your hero.
Why don't you just go alone? You'll be just fine on your own in the middle of London! It's going to be great!
After looking at different possibilities you have decided to book a plane flight. After that, you call your best friend to tell her all about what happened to you today. She can't believe it either and she's happy for you. Also, she's apologising to you about her rude behaviour a few months back. She now feels guilty about what she said to you about the letter. 'It's ok, really! I'm too happy now and besides, it was five months ago! It's too long ago to be pissed about that' You assure her. You get it, you really do because let's face it, what happened today is highly unrealistic and it's a miracle that it happened to you.
You lie down on the couch and read the letter again.
'Make sure you're the last one which is around five pm so I can give you extra time. I'm excited to see you!
Lots of love,
Tom Hiddleston'
And with his autograph of course. A sigh leaves your lips. If you get there at four, that gives you an hour to look for the right place and after that you just wait until they announce "last fans must enter now" thingy. If there are people behind you, you'll let them go first. You're sure they won't mind.
'Fuck!' You let out, not in an angry way but in an enthusiastic way. You're just so excited! How is this happening to you? How does he make time for you? Why would he do it? They always say to never meet your heroes and maybe they are right but reading this letter makes you think that this is an exception. If he is willing to spend a little extra time with you. Ah, it's just so surreal! Just a few more nights away.
