'Hello, love' Your eyes are wide and you have trouble believing you're not dreaming. 'H-Hello' You stand like that for a few seconds before realising that it's rude to just let him stand there so you step aside and gestures for him to come in. 'What brings you here?' You get a hand through your hair as you close the door and follow him back into your room. Hastily you hang your coat up and your shoes under it on the floor. The room is quite a mess so cleaning the smaller things up is the least you can do. 'I'm truly sorry, I just didn't expect.. well, you' You chuckle nervously but he quickly stops you. 'Please, don't. I just came to see you' He came to see you? Is this standard procedure after a meet&greet?
'Oh, but how did you find me?' You stare at him dumbfounded. 'I waved at you when I drove past the hotel? It was just a question of asking which room you were in' You can't help but smile. Tom Hiddleston wanted to see you again and came back when he knew in what hotel you were in. 'That's uhm.. sweet' You say, whispering the last word. 'I know it's strange, at least, I find it a little strange but I found the meet&greet a bit short and we had such a connection and I just wanted to chat with you some more' What a pleasant surprise.
So you offer him some tea because it's the only thing you can make in the room and well, English people love tea. After you hand him a cup and grab your own, you sit down onto the couch that is in your room. He's very close you, your knees are barely touching each other and it makes you nervous again. But it fades once Tom starts talking again, asking you about your interests and comforts. You have a lot of things in common but you can also easily acknowledge the age difference between the two of you. Because let's face it, Shakespeare? You can find your way around it and are certainly open to it, it's just that you never thought about him and his work in your lifetime. Tom most certainly has and can't stop smiling while talking about it. 'I'm sure it's nice, I just never really read it or went to a play about it. But I think I'll like it' You confess and chuckle. 'I don't know' You quickly add. 'Let me take you to one sometime' He blurts out and it shocks you. What? 'Really? You want to do that? Are you sure? I mean, I'm just a fan' He shakes his head while chuckling. 'Don't worry about that, I really want to take you there' Your heart warms when he says those words, gentle and soft. 'I would love to go there with you' You whisper. 'As long as you don't leave me alone there' You joke but he takes it very seriously. 'I wouldn't leave you out of my sight, {y/n}' He has a serious expression on his face as his eyes are staring straight into yours. You stare back, biting your lip softly. His eyes flash from your lips back up to your eyes, his jaw tensing.
You snap out of it and smile at him. 'Do you happen to know when a play of Shakespeare is in town? Or somewhere else?' You avert your gaze from him and fiddle with the tea cup in your hands. 'Yes, in two months. Tickets go on sale next weekend but I can get some earlier' He says before drinking the last bit of his tea. 'I don't know when you go home again but I really hope I can take you out tomorrow? Show you around London?' You turn your face to his, sparks twinkling in your eyes. 'Ah, I would love that! I've never been here before and since I'm all by myself, I'm a little scared to go exploring things on my own. My plane home is tomorrow night. I booked that on purpose because night time is my favourite time to travel' You say and watch carefully how Tom stands up from his seated position and places his cup next to the kettle. 'Lovely! I'll pick you up at noon' He smiles and grabs his coat from your bed. You hadn't even noticed that he had put it there. 'I've got to go. I'll see you tomorrow' You tell him goodbye and walk with him towards the door. 'Sleep tight, darling' He winks, making you blush a deep shade of red. Why does he have such an effect on you like that? He is Tom Hiddleston after all so maybe that's why but still.
After closing the door, you slip into your pyjamas and change yourself for bed. You do now realise that you weren't wearing any make-up on your face. Oh, maybe you looked ugly, or ill. What if he is laughing at you behind your back? No, he wouldn't do that, would he? Well, there is nothing you can do about it now. You get under the covers and let your head rest in the soft pillow. 'What a day' You whisper to yourself and close your eyes. But then you realize something. How late is noon? Is it twelve? Or one o'clock? Or is it twelve thirty? You take deep breaths and calm yourself down again. You'll see in the morning.
Little did you know that Tom couldn't stop thinking about you on his way home. You had made quite the impression on him during the meet&greet and although you're eighteen years younger than him, he can't seem to forget you like he does any other. Forgetting fans is not what he wants to but he meets so many people per day. But {y/n}. She's something else. He needs to be careful, though. If the press finds out..
