"Come on mamas." I said to Ava.

She didn't wanna leave earlier and I didn't wanna ruin her fun so we stayed for a few more hours. 4 to be exact. I wasn't complainin though cause Demi ended up cookin, so Ava shouldn't be hungry when we get home.

Her and Karter were playing some game on Karter's phone and they were taking turns. She glanced over at me and quickly looked back at the screen, trying to keep her character alive in the process.

"We finna go?"

"Yea."

"Ok hold on, I can't pause it."

I remember them days. My mama used to be mad when I would tell her I can't pause my game. She'd be like 'and gimme ya phone since you always want move when you wanna move'. Little did she know it wasn't even my time it was the games.

Sadly, some mothers will never understand what you go through when you have to leave and you can't pause your game, or sometimes anything you go through in general.

"And I beat yo high score." She stuck her tongue out at Karter.

She gave Karter back her phone and got up, puttin her shoes back on. I got up as well, makin sure I had my phone. She said her goodbyes to everyone and waited for me by the door.

I looked over at Karter who was now textin away on her phone with a big ass smile on her face. I went over to where she was and politely sat on her, makin sure to get a glimpse of her phone.

"Who you textin? A lil boy?" I whispered.

"No."

"So what got you smilin hard as hell where you can't tell me bye?"

"I can relate to something Skylar posted." She said showin me her Snapchat.

"So you say, but you will tell me if you got a lil boyfriend right?" I asked raisin my eyebrow.

"If I say yes will you get off me?"

"Nope cause I need you to mean it."

"You know I will TT."

The fact that she's about to be 14 and still calls me that. I love it. I guess that's a name that will stick with me forever.

"Wait you tryna call me fat?" I frowned realizin what she said a few seconds ago.

"No.... but you got my legs slowly falling asleep so yes." 

"Girl I am not fat I'm thick."

"Embrace the thickness!" Demi yelled gettin up.

"Right."

"Ha! I was not talkin bout yo fat ass I'm talkin bout me." She ran her hands along her curves.

I have to admit, Demi is shaped perfect. Many would think she got her body done, but she's been real invested in her body ever since I met her.

Well, as far as going to the gym. She still eats like her life is hanging on by a thread, but she gets back on track every now and then. Eating properly is a strict discipline you have to get used to, but it is very much possible.
