"Y'all sit outside and let the adults handle this." Ms. Marshall said making me shake my head.

I wanted to stay with my daddy. I wanna go home I don't want to be here anymore. I hate school.

"Go head baby." My daddy sat tapping my leg.

"Noooo!" I yelled, starting to cry some more.

"Aight how bout I stand by the door? That way if you need me ima be right there okay?"

I thought about it for a while but then I nodded my head and stood up, making my way out of the disciplinarian office and into the main office. I sat in the chairs right outside the door while Saniya sat on the other side of the room where you first come in the office. I should beat her up again for what she said, but my daddy standing right there. I couldn't even think right because every time I thought about something my mind brought me to what happened at recess. I wonder where Zamora went.

I wanna think something happy.

"Ouu I'm full." I said sitting my fork down.

"Me too." Zamora said doing the same.

We were at lunch, and since our class was one of the firsts to come since our class in on the first hall, we ate first. That's the only thing I like about being on the first floor.

"Wanna get on the swings?" I asked.

"Our food gotta digest girl." She made a face before laughing.

Little ole Mora, never taking risks, and follows all the rules. I do too, just not the dumb stuff about swimming after eating and laying down while eatin. I lay down and eat my chips all the time and looka me, perfectly fine.

"Okay how about we walk slow to the swings that way our food can have enough time to digest."

"Alright." She smiled getting up.

I got up while drinking some more of my milk and then threw my food away in one of the many big garbage cans. We walked out the door and then like we agreed, we walked slow. We went around the blacktop where the boys was playing basketball and to pass by more time, and then we got on the swings.

"I'm surprised nobody on the swings." Zamora said starting to push herself.

"Me too. It usually be buku people out here waiting for their turn on the swing."

We continued to talk as we competed to see who can go the highest. Since Zamora won, we stopped swinging and let ourselves slow down so that we can start over.

"Hey orphan." Saniya said making me roll my eyes.

Saniya is this dumb girl in my class who just a hater. She always calling me a orphan saying that my mama and daddy don't really love me and they gonna give me up soon. Then she be saying other stuff, but I be trying to ignore her like the teacher say. Just as I was about to put my feet down to help stop myself, I felt somebody push me. I screamed out in pain as my face hit the pole before I fell. I saw Zamora jump off the swing and start yelling at somebody before I looked up to see one of Saniya friends.
