After me and Demi's bestie date, as she calls it, is a success, we leave to go and pick the girls up from school. After dropping them off at their house, Ava and I head home.

"Mama you gotta work today?" Ava asks as she waits for me to unlock the front door.

"Yeah, but later on why?"

"I was just askin."

Once the door is unlocked, I push it open to allow her to walk in before I do. I remove the keys from the door and afterwards, I walk in and close the door behind me. Locking both locks, I then walk further into the house.

Sittin my purse on the sofa, I go to the kitchen and put my keys on the counter and then put my to go plate from earlier in the microwave. I'll eat that later I guess. Or give it to Ava.

"You goin by maw maw or Demi?" I ask.

"I wanna go by maw maw ."

"Alright."

One of my clients hit me up earlier and asked me to do her makeup really quick, and I couldn't tell her no because I refuse to pass up the opportunity. I need my coins.

I walk out of the kitchen and to my makeup room, where I gather the makeup and spread it out before going upstairs to my bathroom. The mascara I use for my clients is runnin out, so I grab mine, along with the face wipes, before going back into my makeup room.

That's my only rule. To come with your face clean. Many of my clients still don't, which is sort of disgusting, and many do, but I still wipe their face just in case cause no. I am not about do makeup on a face that isn't clean.

I've use different brands of wipes, but I personally like the Ponds wet cleansing luminous cleanse and the Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing wipes so I have more packs of them than anything.I stay stacked up with those.

I didn't feel like driving across town just to go to the other house, so I decided to have my client come to the current house. Tiffany has been to this house before and she's also a loyal client, so she's good. I trust her.

"Mama can you do my makeup?"

"You don't need no makeup on." I turn to her. "And I'm bout to do somebody makeup."

"I gotta make sure you warmed up, on a fresh face." She smiled and pointed to her face.

"No." I smiled back.

"Pleaseee its just for fun. Like when Karter sleeps over here."

When Karter sleeps here of course she wants to play in my makeup since she's getting older and actually wants to wear makeup now. We all do each other's makeup and talk and stuff but I'm surprised Demi got over to Juan to let Karter wear makeup. He's a stubborn one when it comes to decisions like that.

I looked at the time on my Apple Watch and see that it's 4:02. She should be here in a little over ten minutes, so that'll give me time to do what I need to do to Ava's face.

"Come on."

She smiles and sits in the chair, facing the mirror so she can see how I'm doin every now and then. I grab a wipe out the packet before I wipe her face with it to rid her face of all bacteria and debris.
