"And then we played hide n seek and I won every game." Ava said stickin the straw into her Capri Son.

"You did not win every game." My mama protested.

"Yes I did I had all the best hidin places and I only got caught twice."

"Then you ain't win every game if you got caught." I said.

"Why y'all gotta be difficult? That is winnin every game." She said walkin over to my dad and smirked. "Didn't I win every game pawpaw?"

She know damn well he gonna say yea. He say yea to everything when he sleep or watchin his shows on tv. You can't count on him he'll tell you yes to jumpin off the bridge if you asked.

"Yup." He agreed.

"See I told you." She sipped some of her juice.

I shook my head and got up, pushin my chair back underneath the table. I threw the wrapper to my ice cream sandwich in the trash and walked back over to the table.

"Alright y'all I'm finna go. Thanks for watchin her for me." I kissed my mama forehead, near her temple.

"No problem baby."

I walked over to my dad and sat next to him, engulfin him in a hug. He always in that tv he need to get out more.

"See ya later."

"See you later baby girl." He kissed my cheek.

I got up and watched as Ava said her see you laters to her grandparents. She grabbed her iPad and we headed out the door.

"Love y'all." I called out.

I know I say this a lot and y'all will hear me say it even more but with everything goin on in the world today, I need everyone who is close to me to know that I love and appreciate them. I don't know when the last time I'll see them and vice versa, but at least we'll know we love each other.

Once we got in the car I started it and we put on our seatbelts. I looked at the time on my watch and saw that it was 10:27. Ava put her headphones in leavin me with no choice but to plug my phone up to the aux cord.

"It's to the point where I love and I hate you, and I cannot change you so I must replace you." I sang along and bobbed my head.

I like this song and the beat bangin, but the chorus is the one of the only parts of the song I know. It's like that for most of his songs, along with smokepurpp and Lil pump.

"Mama!" Ava yelled, scarin me in the process.

I quickly looked back at her and then turned back around. I turned the music down and looked at her again.

She must've had them headphones all the way up cause she started laughin when she noticed my face. I wanted to laugh too but I don't like bein scared so I automatically get annoyed.
