Guess I'll give y'all something to read. I didn't feel like revising so just skip over any mistakes.
~Hazel
"Will you be able to get her?" Demi asked referring to Justyce, who was still in the hospital.
Although Justyce was well over fine from her fever now, the doctors wanted to keep her a little longer and run more tests to see if they can find out what was the cause and root of her asthma attacks. Yes attacks. Over the week she's been in the hospital, she's had 2 more attacks and I'm honestly scared for her. I know those attacks occur with kids in their younger stages of life, but I didn't know they can have 3 attacks within a one week span. That sounds life threatening and scary as hell. I really hope they can find the root to why she's having them because I can't bare to see the fear in her eyes and all over her face when she does have them. I want my little munchkin #2 to be back to her normal self.
"Yes of course. I'm about to leave now."
"You sure?" She asked and I can tell she was twiddling with her fingers. "I mean I can call off again t-"
"Of course I'm sure this is my godchild which means I'm the secondary mother." I chuckled. "Go get your money sis I'm done anyway."
I love Demi with all my heart, but I don't like how she always gets scared to ask me to watch or get the kids from a certain location. I might be busy but it's only two answers I can give and she knows the answer I'll always pick. Those girls are like my own and I'd do anything for them. Just like Ava, they're one of my main priorities. She needs the distraction anyway. She's way too stressed out at the moment.
"Okay thank you."
"No problem."
I disconnected the call and posted the pictures I took of the face I just did to my Snapchat and Instagram. I sprayed her face to keep the makeup in place until she decided to take it off, and then took the money from her before gathering my stuff and leaving. This was one of the many clients where we actually weren't that close. She's new so it was pretty silent besides the small talk I made with her about her being exited over her sister's pregnancy.
I put my makeup bag on the floor in the backseat and got in my car. After turning the car on, I rolled the windows down and turned on the air conditioner so that the car can cool down from being in all that heat. When it got cool enough, I rolled the windows back up and made my way to the hospital.
"Good afternoon." The lady at the front desk greeted.
"Good afternoon." I smiled and got on the elevator.
I pressed the button to the floor Justyce was on and waited patiently for the elevator to stop and the doors to open. When it did, I stepped out and went to her room.
"Nommy!" She yelled once she saw me, jumping up from the bed.
She has so many nicknames for people that I forgot all about that one. I don't know where she gets them from, but I won't make her stop because she's happy. I actually like this one better than all the other ones though.
"Wait girl." I stopped her from pulling the wires from her.
"Sorry."
