Sorry for any mistakes, I wrote this one real quick because I was so mad. So frustrated. Watching people I thought I knew insult each other. Seeing others hurt that still laugh. It's gross. If you have a friend you think doesn't take insults badly, you're either super lucky or you're hurting them. Seriously hurting them.
They make messes and ruin my things and think its okay, that they're not insulting me, it's supposedly a joke, and I'll take it as one, making bad jokes and implementing me in them. That's one of the biggest reasons I'm relieved school's almost over. Here's the result of my frustration:
------
Sticks and stones
Break bones
But words of spite
Break spiritsNo longer feeling
Confident
Happy
Or safeBecause your words
Shot my soul
Your words
Slashed my resolveYou say them
So uncaringly
So offhandedly
Without noticingHow rude
You can be
How much
You break meI'm your friend
You knew me
Your whole life
But never had the rightTo insult
As a joke
To say 'ugly'
And thinkI'll take it nicely
As a compliment
A joke
Because at one pointIt's enough
Your words hurt
At one point
It's no longer a jokeNot funny
Anymore
Not a joke
For you to laugh atAnd think
I'll laugh along
To a damned insult
BecauseYou'll never have the right
To insult me
And believe
I won't take it seriouslyFriendship
is not an excuse
For you
To be rudeTo be messy
And mean
To hurt me
For realNo matter
How close
We may be
Your wordsAre knives
They're weapons
To either
Slash withOr protect with
But
To think
Cutting someoneWon't hurt
You'd be insane
Absolutely
InsaneWhen I tell you
You shake it off
Saying
I'm uptightThat it's a joke
And I'm crazy
Because I got mad
At an insultI want
To scream
To pull out
My hairOut of
Pure frustration
Pure desperation
For you to understandYour mouth is a gun
And you think
You won't kill
By pulling the triggerYou're a fool
An idiot
Your words
Hurt
