Dealing with Assassins

Anu woke up bright and early, before any of the other wolves. Not because he wasn't tired or wanted to leave Cleo's side, but because he had business to attend to. Specifically a lelivillian.
Anu dripped venom into his mouth, mixing it in with his healing saliva to create a numbing fluid. He stalked silently over to the sleeping lizard, letting the fluid drip lightly onto his neck. The trick with hard skinned reptiles was that it was not so easy to pierce their skin without notice. Anu could pierce the skin, however the lizard would awake if he did not numb him.
He let the fluid sit a while, watching intensely as the patch of scales lost feeling. Letting it take hold just long enough, Anu leaned down and pressed the tip of his sharp fangs expertly between the scales.
Thanks to the numbing fluid, the lizard did not so much as move. Feeling the familiar sensation of blood, Anu slowly pumped inward, letting the fluid into his throat so he could memorize it.
He let his eyes roll back, storing all and any signatures in the blood. He could track the lizard indefinitely now.
Anu pulled out quickly after, licking the wound to heal it.
Playtime was over.
Anu grabbed the lizard and pulled him off between the trees, not caring for a gentle wake up. Parker awoke in a panic as he was dragged afar distance from the pack and Anu dropped him hard against the ground.
Fully awake, he blinked and scrambled up quickly, Anu snatching him in a tight hold before he could make any escape.
"Let me explain something to you punk." Anu spoke through his teeth. "I am Anubis Strider, a blood wolf, a Rage wolf, an executioner and an assassin. Killing is my lifestyle, heck, I'm even tempted to kill the few friends I do have. I need very little motivation to kill someone. You sir," He chuckled lowly. "Annoy me. The only thing keeping you alive is that I need information from you. Now, where is your friend?"
The lizard squirmed under his tightening grip. Anu did not care about being gentle, break his ribs if he had to. "I can't tell you anything if you kill me."
The blood wolf grinned, letting his blood heat up and breathed hot air in the lizard's face. "You must have poor memory, you already forgot who I am. I don't have to kill you to get you to speak."
"You can only hurt me sso much."
"Wrong again. I can hurt you as much as I like, I can hurt you again and again, and every time you start to fade I can heal you and start over. If you so much as try to run away, I can track. You can run to the ends of the earth and I can still find you."
Parker's orange eyes widened as he tried to pry himself loose of the tight grip, there was no use. "No!" He cried out. "I can't let you hurt her!"
Anu stopped, softening his grip as he felt Rage start to emerge and then fade back to his cage. It is easy to extract information from a creature when all who is being harmed is themselves, but when someone they love is on the line it can be near impossible.
He would need to change his tactics.
Anu kept his hold tight but gave the lizard comfortable wiggle room.
"You only want her to be safe, yes?"
"Ssafe."
"I can promise, ensure your friend will be the safest she has ever been."
"How can I trusst a monsster like you?"
"Because I wasn't always a monster!"
That was enough to make the lizard stop struggling. It was working, so Anu continued slowly.
"I-" Anu closed his eyes, sighing as he relieved the memories. "Used to be a young boy, wanting nothing but to learn and find myself. Only problem was, someone else found me before I could. I wasn't just a boy, I was a blood wolf raised by humans. I did not know that, but the scientists did." His breath grew shakier. "I was powerful but did not know it, and they knew how valuable that made me. Before I knew it they had full control of everything, I was strapped to a chair and experimented on. They probed me, cut me open and filled me with all sorts of chemicals they didn't even dare to use on mice. I went through tests and trials, fire and water." Anu felt his blood heat again and a low growl escape involuntarily from his chest. "They turned a boy searching to be a man into a monster instead. That's what I became, that's who I am now."
Parker let his feet onto the ground, swallowing the information heavily.
Anu clenched his teeth so hard he almost cut through his jaw. "I know little of the white wolf, but if she is anything like the rest of us I know she is not hiding just for games."
The blood wolf shifted his grip and pushed the lelivillian against the ground so he could look into his face. "She does not have to hide like this, she does not have to be a monster. She can join my pack and finally be safe and herself. Nothing." He bared his fangs and his eyes seemed to flicker red. "Absolutely NOTHING and NO ONE will be able to hurt her again. I will see to it personally. Now-" Anu let his blood cool again and he straightened his posture. "-Where may I find your friend?"
