Today was the day, I was leaving for Riverdale. I finished packing what was left of my things.

I threw the tarp on top of the bed of the truck, tying everything. I rushed around in the rain.

I finally finished doing so and got into the driver seat. I started the truck and began to drive down the dirt road.

I watched through the rearview mirror, as the house I spent most of my life in, disappeared.

I turned onto the smooth pavement and began to drive in the rain, towards the highway.

I listened to static play through the radio. The rain hitting on the windshield at a steady pace.

I scanned through the radio stations as I drove, just wanting to listen to something other than static.

I finally decided to plug in the aux. I switched to a playlist, that lightly played through the radio.

Riverdale was around two hour drive, but with the rain, I was estimating three.

I listened to the mixture of the rain with the low music in the back. I slowly began to relax.

It was 3pm. I got out of school at 11am and decided that if I was going to make a move, I would do it now.

My brother was at a friends house and my dad, out working. I breathed air from my mouth.

The inside of the truck was heating up. I grabbed the lever and began cranking the window down.

The cold air soon filled the veichle. I sat in my leggings, sweater, and leather jacket.

My rain boots were still wet from the rain and mud. I looked on the bench and saw my other boots on the floor.

What a way to start the summer, with a intense downfall of rain on the valley.

I quickly looked back over on the bench. My camera bag next to me, containing my camera and laptop.

I turned the radio up slightly and hummed with the music. The music wasn't catching my attention.

I watched as the cars around me also rushing to get to the location they needed to be.

The nature around these parts was breath taking. The clouds were making the sky dark.

It looks almost as if it slowly transitioning into night. It wasn't because it was only three.

I watched as the rain began to slow, and the clouds started to light up. I was too far now, to be caught.

I switched to an audiobook. It was a crime and mystery, this was not always the routine.

I was typically content with music, but I was nervous and jumpy. I had my fears and regrets, but this was not one.

I wanted to learn from my mistakes, to make myself a new person. I wanted to be a better person.

My dad had raised me into a monster. I wanted to go back into a simpler time.

I watched as the clouds turned dark and the wind picked up. It was now nearing 4:30pm.

I'd been driving awhile. My gas tank without even a dent. I tightened the leather jacket around me.

The rain started up again and the road turned gray. I made sure my lights were on as I continued on.

My phone rang, and I peaked at it. It was my brother Monty. I ignored it as I pulled into a rest spot.

Once I was parked and situated, I blocked my brothers and my dad number.

I buckled back up and pulled back onto the freeway. I was so close to Riverdale.

I didn't have a plan yet, but I had all my saved money since I was 10. Luckily, I didn't have much.

I pulled off an exit and drove on the unevenly paved road. I passed by a welcome sign for Riverdale.

The town used to be a small tourist attraction, until the Blossom Boy was found shot.

It was tragic for the town and everyone in it. I watched the road as I passed nice homes.

This was of course the Northside. The homes were nice and it seemed like a cheery place to be.

It really wasn't my type of area to be in. I was used to dark and ran down. I continued on the road.

The town was getting duller as I approached the Southside. I noticed the rain had picked back up.

The sky got darker and the cloud multiplied. I finally got into the darker part of town, the Southside.

I drove passed through the ran down businesses, and the abandon houses. I looked for the White Wyrm.

Once it was found, I pulled into the parking lot and parked my truck. I sat waiting a minute.

I was very nervous. I contemplated what I wanted to do. I rolled my window up, cranking the jack.

I slowly unbuckled and opened the door, and locked the door behind me. I walked towards the door.

I opened the door and slowly walked in. I knew I did not belong here. I walked towards the bar.

I walked and sat into a stool, the Bartender was talking to another man in a leather jacket.

The bartender walked towards me and stood in front of me. "Hello, what can I get for you?"

"Um, is FP here?" The girl nodded and walked into the back. I brought my attention to my hands.

My anxiety got the best of me, I was very nervous. I sat and waited. I exhaled sharply.

The door leading into the back opened. I didn't look up because I didn't want to seem desperate.

I heard a throat clear and I brought my attention to in front of me. I was met with FP's face.

"Hi?"
"You know you look a hell of a lot like your mother."

I smiled and looked back down. I heard him walk around the bar island, towards me.

I smiled as he pulled me into a hug as we stood.
